"I have come at this time, in this place, and through this being to speak my truth, to speak the story of my life -- the true story of my life." The purpose of this book is to clarify, to tell the truth, and to share my energies with you so that you can begin the transformation of your mind and, therefore, the transformation of your heart and your world. It is in the misteachings that have been associated with my name that much death and pain has been caused and that much guilt and self-recrimination has been expressed. That was not my purpose; that was not my lesson. This story will begin the change. It will not make the change. It will facilitate turning the key in the lock, but you must open the door and walk through it into a new realm that is opened by this information. That is your responsibility. We can only bring you the message, this channel and I. We can only work together to transmit the information, but it is through your actions and your transformation that you will see a change in your world, a change in the subjective world that is manufactured from your beliefs, your thoughts, and your feelings. I talk about the truth of my birth and the truth of my life. I cover some stories that are recounted in the Bible and tell you the true story of those events. I describe some of my personal traits, my human traits, and I define what I am, who I am, and why these things happened. You will be able to understand the truth, and you will begin this reconditioning, this retooling of your mind -- of your thoughts and beliefs -- on this subject of my life, my meaning, and my purpose, for it is a long process. The time is ripe. The need for a spiritual revolution is here. -- Jesus
Tina Louise Spalding had been channeling Jesus for about two years and this book is the end result. It doesn't disappoint, it definitively deals with Jesus' life, appropriately starting before conception, moving through childhood to adulthood, and past his crucifixion.
This book, however, is more than just a collection of stories and tribulations. Jesus takes the opportunity to impart his true teachings, not the Roman Catholic church's teachings, by giving a sound explanation of the laws of the Universe, and in doing so also separates himself from this institution.
This book is best understood if you are familiar with terms like law of attraction, past life, incarnation, channeling, abundance, etc. Jesus touches controversial topics like death, sexuality, abortion, drugs, Mary Magdalene, immaculate conception, etc. This is not a mainstream read or biblical study material, instead it is a rebel yell that hopes to make you wake up.
This book is very outside the realm of what I typically read. It was recommended to me by my husband, who had only heard about it himself recently from another friend. I was not raised in the Christian church but discovered a local community of Asian-American Christians when I was in middle school. Because of my desire to connect with people who had a similar background, I became very involved with the church for the next decade.
Going into this book, I was very skeptical - about the idea of channeling and spiritual texts in general. However, this book completely took me by surprise. It is astoundingly self-aware. It knows what it is asking the reader to believe when it entitles the book as such, but the words never come across as defensive or motive-driven. The text tells us to make our own decisions about the validity of these claims and whether these channeled words resonate with our soul.
The book goes into detail about the story of Jesus' early life, the places he traveled and the people he met, the reason why he often spoke in parables, and the struggles he faced throughout his time on this earth. He addresses the church and how they have edited the gospels for their own purposes, and he provides guidance on how to live a life full of peace, love, and kindness. The stories told here about Jesus resonated with me and made so much more sense than anything I have read in the Bible. It is approachable, simple, and the message is easy to understand.
As I read further into this book, I could feel my skepticism fading away and my heart beginning to open to the wisdom that was being offered. There were parts that I was not certain about, and some of the sections began to get repetitive, but the main message stayed consistent and true. I gained so much insight, inspiration, and reassurance from this book, and it has impacted my spiritual life immensely.
I hands down LOVE this book! I love the vibration this book aligns to! It helped me to heal many different aspects of myself, past and present. As a child growing up in a catholic religion, there were so many things that just didn’t make sense to me. As I felt that the church constantly contradicted themselves with their teachings. It was confusing, especially as a child. But, I always felt a love & closeness with Jesus. This book cleared up so many misconceptions for me & I’m eternally grateful to have came across it! Thank you Jesus, Tina & Ananda from my heart to yours, I LOVE YOU! Thank you, Thank you, Thank you!!!
We all are inspired by the knowledge that Jesus defeated death, but we don’t expect to hear from him. We should expect it, because He wants to talk to us. He wants us to have the truth. He wants us to understand His message. So much has been obscured by time and faulty records. Now the full story of His life are available to us. Amazing to be able to learn from Jesus in person.
I absolutely loved this book. I have always had an intuitive ‘knowing’ of Jesus’ life, and felt, through this book, I got to know the parts of his life and teachings. I love how he reminds us that he is no different than us and we all have the absolute same abilities to connect to source, heal, and cause miracles; just like he did. Though it takes work and practice, Jesus reminds us that we are perfect just as we are and, he too, went through the human experience.
I wish everyone who believes in Jesus would read this book. If you read the whole thing and still walk away not believing it, then that is your right. But I encourage everyone to have an open heart and mind and read this book. It will change your life. It certainly changed mine.
It moves me body and soul. My spirit is uplifted to heights beyond my expectations. I am changing for the good of all my brother's and sisters. I feel deep and profound love for everything.
Quite an amazing and beautiful book! It proposes that we All look at life and living with a new understanding and new ideas so that we can make informed decisions about our “world” and our life! Trust that which your heart and mind tells you is the lesson for me.
More of a romance novel than actual detailed autobiography; this book, while enlightening, isn't nearly as revolutionary or groundbreaking as author Tina Spalding would lead one to believe.
Many supposed autobiographies of Jesus and other biblical characters have been written before, and the idea that a spirit channeler such as Spalding is special in her ability to capture the energy of Yeshua isn't all that profound. Much of his teachings can be found in the Gospels, even if his intimate life has been buried and hidden, like how a celebrity would do to hide their private life.
Yeshua's method as a prophet and shepherd of men is not to tell you the whole story of his life up front, but rather to mystify and slowly draw you into his more personal relationships, like a friend slowly sharing the intimacy of their past relationships.
Another part of the problem is that Tina's rendition of Yeshua seems to focus more on how to attract atheists and disbelievers of the Tanakh, as if New Ageism is the only true religion that one can follow. Like an arrogant white colonist, this is typical of most religions, in how their beliefs must be the beliefs of everyone else. This universal solipsism is dangerous and quite ironic considering how Yeshua's practical teachings should be available to everyone regardless of their creed or customs...
What a joy to have the gift of Jesus’s words put clarity on his life as a man, a husband, a father and a great teacher of love and truth for all mankind. Tina is a gifted channel and I trust these words to be the truth. A Course in Miracles is a precious but also difficult gift to open and unravel but the ongoing lessons and truth changes your life forever. We are all being well lived and guided. This is the time now to commit to changing the world from one that is fear based to one where we live in peace and prosperity. Do not miss any of Tina’s work.
Wow! This book needs to be read by anyone who has an interest in spiritual matters, whether you believe in Jesus and the Christian religion or not. I have come to a spiritual way of life through 12-step programmes & there is nothing in either of these ways of life that contradicts the other.
This book's teachings are timely, loving and most likely destructive to many people's beliefs, including my own. As a soul disappointed with religion and the world's values, I feel I've found permission, direction and encouragement to change my life's goals and interactions. A must read for those who are longing for truth.
Reading this book brought me peace. I experience a connection to truth that is beyond what we normally see. My love for all people has increased. I recommend this book for anyone searching for a better way. Life does not have to be hard. We can trust the process.
Like breathing fresh air after being fed the lies of the church for so many years! I love Tina and her work. Look her up on youtube as she channels Jesus daily (!) in A Course In Miracles. Has helped me immensly in my life. Peace and Love to all. <3
Seek first the Kingdom of God. The book is a roadmap back to truth and peace of mind. If you have ever questioned the narrative widely accepted, this book may be for you.
i really enjoyed this book. i dont know if its written by the real Jesus but it preaches the message of forgiveness and love so i'm totally cool with it. just take it with a grain of salt.
its a bit repetitive but i guess thats necessary for this information.
A friend recommended this book... and after reading it, I read another three books by Tina Louise Spalding. Loved them all - they are quite inspirational and give you a fresh perspective.
