Good book on Intercessory Prayer with some practical suggestions on what / how to pray concerning various groups and situations. It is not a how-to book, but provides suggestions based on Scripture. If you want to add intercession to your prayer routine or want to expand or grow in the area of intercession, this would be a good and useful read.

On a Wednesday night in 1971 Dick Eastman saw a vision of men and women in battle array, marching across the earth. As he asked the Lord what he was seeing, he heard, "This is an army of intercessors who will change the world." Eastman has been helping to equip this army since that time, influencing leaders such as Mike Bickle, who now directs a well-known prayer ministry (located in Missouri) and Lou Engle, who is fathering a generation of ones willing to follow the Sermon-on-the-Mount-life. For this reason I enjoy reading Eastman's views on love expressed through prayer.

Excellent guide on prayer. The author not only tells us what to pray, but also why. His added insights make some of the Biblical teachings on prayer more clear and understandable.

Much better than some more recent books on prayer that I have read.
