I love being the old lady of a biker. Too bad I don’t love that biker. Bobby is a jerk but he’s better than my drunken mom and abusive stepfather.
But when Stone joined the Knights, things changed. He’s a bearded bad boy and he’s not shy about what he thinks about Bobby and me, especially my full figure.
Even though I’m with Bobby, I can’t resist when Stone asks me out. The way he touches my soft curves, the way he pleasures me endlessly, the way he makes me feel about myself. I can’t get enough.
But Bobby won’t let me go without a fight and he means to ruin the motorcycle club I love so much. But Stone is up for a fight and with him by my side, so am I.

an ARC review given in exchange for an honest review . so what do you do when you are with someone who treats you like dirt . and what if you see someone you want but can never have or so you think so . and what do you do when someone wants to take the club over but don't want them to take it from whom is over it . and what do you do when someone is told not to do something but they do it anyways . should they vote them out or keep allowing someone who is only in it for themselves and being greedy . to find this and much more out buy then review then review .
So i really did not think I would like this at all but it was actually really a good read! Stone was a badass in every sense of the word and Im glad he was able to help Maria see that no woman, no matter her size, should always be at least treated with respect.
Another book I read over a decade ago and just now reread.
Not a bad story, and I indeed liked Stone in the beginning, but it felt like he lost some of his badasseriness (sure, that’s a word I swear) by the end. As for the female MC - wasn’t a fan of hers, so much so that I can’t even remember her name at the moment.
Maria is a young girl who was lost and alone in the world until she found her way into the Knight’s Motorcycle club. Fresh out of High School she meets up with Bobby who quickly sweeps her off her feet. He gives her the perfect opportunity to leave her abusive step dad and alcoholic mother behind. Maria thought she finally found a family in the Knights. Unfortunately, not all was how she expected, Bobby was a jerk but he was better then the alternative so Maria hung around. Not to mention she grew to love the leader of the Knights as a father and his young wife as a sister.
Stone joined the Knights one day and changed everything for the club and for Maria. A bearded bad boy he speaks his mind and wastes no time letting the full figured Maria know that he wants her for himself. Even though Maria is with Bobby, she can’t help feeling an unexpected pull towards Stone. He has charm and he is nothing like any man she has ever met. He makes her feel desired and confident in her curves and in herself. However, can she start over with someone else, is she trading one bad boy for another? Somehow, Maria knows in her heart and soul that Stone is different.
D.H. Cameron is one of the authors on the top of my list of must-reads this book is no expectation. Stone and Maria are a terrific couple they hit it off right from the start and you can feel the sparks fly. Stone is determined to make Maria his and he wastes no time doing just that. Maria has no self-confidence. Her boyfriend Bobby is a jerk who has done nothing but make her feel bad about herself. When Stone shows her a better way, she throws caution to the wind and gives Stone a chance to show her a completely new world. Stone and Maria fall fast, quick and hard for each other their chemistry is off the charts.
The story is a quick read but the author manages to pack in some great story, hot sex scenes and even a little bit of action. You will love Stone and his sexy bearded smirk.
Maria was this beautiful curvy woman. She had low self esteem and did not know how strong of a woman she truly was. Maria had a rough life. Her mother was a drunk and her father was abusive. When she met Bobby he was her way out. She left with him after high school. She was doing what she felt she needed to do to survive.
Bobby was in the MC called the Knights. The Knights were not like what you would think an MC to be, they did not do drugs or anything illegal. Bobby was not a good man. He treated Maria awful and wanted to take the MC down a path that it did not need to go. Maria truly needed a life line to get out of this relationship with Bobby. She needed a savior, someone to just give her a little push and courage.
Stone was this hot sexy new guy that had just joined The Knights. He had his eyes on Maria and did not like how Bobby was treating her. He also did not like the things he was hearing Bobby was up to. Stone was ready to give Maria that life line, that push, that courage she needed to move on from Bobby. The only question is will Maria be ready to receive everything Stone is offering her?
You will fall in love with Stone and Maria. You will love watching Maria turn from this caterpillar
to this beautiful butterfly. Stone is everything Maria needs. He is everything that Rocky and the Knights need. Stone is truly a rock that stands strong when needed.
I was given this book for an honest review. This makes the 2nd Book I have read of D.H. Cameron and I have to tell you that she is an amazing writer and does not disappoint.
I can't determine whether D.H. Cameron wants to bring a different type of MC romance to the fore, or if it was just easier to contrast the hero from the 'villain' in Stone by portraying a club whose president and most of the other members have no desire to run guns, drugs, or whores. Rather, they prefer to ride for the joy of riding.
The heroine, Maria, has low self-esteem. At the start, she is Old Lady to Bobby, a biker who seems to yearn for a club that is dangerous. He is verbally and emotionally abusive towards Maria, but she puts up with it because he is the first person to ever want her. Then Stone joins the club.
Maria lacks agency. That is to say, she is in a bad spot with Bobby, yet she will not leave him. When she does, it is not for an independent life, but rather, to move in with and have a relationship with Stone. And while Stone treats her far better and encourages her to stand up for herself, it certainly doesn't feel empowering. Instead, it becomes another story where the hero rides to the rescue of the heroine because she can't do it herself.
I did like the different type of MC romance this was; so often with this type of romance, it is difficult to get into them simply because the characters are so loathsome, but the characters themselves needed work. Too much developed too quickly and while that is part and parcel of a romance novel, I found it troublesome given the type of character Maria is.
I’m just mush after Stone from D.H. Cameron. I could not put this book down. Hot, Hot, Hot need I say more! You come in to Maria life right at a time when thing are not so good. She is with Bobby who is to say the least a jerk of all jerks. Women to him are nothing more than there to serve him. Maria comes from a broken home. Think and feels she deserves nothing better than Bobby, she takes what he gives her. That is till Stone walks in. Stone the man we all dream about! Awwww! Okay okay back to the review! Stone is not the perfect man but he knows that you treat women with respect. He is drawn to Maria as much if not more than she is to him. Not being able to say way they take a chance on each other, this comes with a price. Bobby is not going to give up Maria that easy and proves the point by doing whatever he can to rip these two apart. Everything you can want in a book and more!!!
Stone is a very good MC book! Coming from an abusive home, Maria felt she was better off being with Bobby, who was verbally abusive to her, until Stone joined the Knights. Stone made Maria realize that she was worth being treated right and not belittled just because she was curvy and convinced her to leave Bobby and become his old lady. When Bobby went behind the club's back and set up an arms deal Stone stepped up to try and make sure it went well. But Bobby messed the deal up. Rocky managed to get a meeting with the Jamaicans.Stone and Maria led the meeting and even save Bobby's life. Afterwards, Bobby was kicked out of the Knights and the club went on to grow larger. This book is very well written and I enjoyed it from beginning to end. I can't wait to read more from this author! I was given a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
The author knows how to keep you hooked in the book - the writing just keeps you focused. I really enjoyed reading this story. It's not often that you read about BBW & bad boys and I'm happy this author did.
This is a quick read but well worth it, the plot sticks till the end and you also have the romance. The way Stone takes charge and makes sure that Maria will becomes his shows a side to him that Maria wasn't aware of. You get some hot, steamy scenes with some action as well. You won't expect some things to happen but they do.
Great job to the author on a really good book. I highly recommend.
I got this in exchange of an honest review, I am a fan of this author and love his work and this one was another successful work I liked the story line the plot the flow of events the characters everything was well written and you can really connect to the characters a lot it has a lot of elements that will make you feel alive realize how much you there is in the book I recommend this to everyone
I was given this e-book for an honest review. I really liked this book. The main and secondary characters are well written. The development of the characters is throughout the book. There is some violence but not overly graphic. The sexual scenes are not overly graphic either but well written. I'm not sure if she plans to add to this book but I would love to read more about these characters.
Great read!! I love Maria and Stone! She is with this total jerk of a man and knows that he is but she feels trapped. No options. Until Stone shows her how much better things can be. He knows what he wants and has no problem getting it. There was great heat between them. The story has some intensity and great characters.
I received a copy of this book in exchange for an honest review.
Stone went after what he wants and wasn't afraid to get it even if was dangerous. Maria came from not a loving family but escape to a safer place but will she give up her jerk of an ex and go after her happiness. Read this awesome book to find out.
