This is book 3 in the Spring Valley Ranchers Mail Order Bride series.by Ellie Haywood. Ms. Haywood needs to be praised for her ability in writing western romance stories that are sweet and clean. This is the type of book that could end up as a Hallmark movie. Haywood follows the basic formula for mail order ride tails. Widower in need of a wife submits an ad for a mail order bride. Young woman in desperate situation answers ad to escape to a new life. The male protagonist is ranch hand J.C. The female protagonist Katie responds. Haywood’s plot line is enhanced in the way the mail order bride ad is placed. An additional twist in the plot line occurs when Katie’s cantankerous mother decides to accompany her daughter out west. The way the characters handle these twists is what akes this story. This is a quick and good read.
