The Abandoned (Book Fourteen)

With Vivian’s help, Sarah survives the crash, and her actions save nearly a hundred people.The Netherlands authorities arrest Sarah as witnesses on board claim she knew about the crash beforehand. The Netherlands police, a division of the Ministry of Defense, don’t appreciate Sarah being in their country and decide to bring her up on terrorism charges unless she complies with an undercover sting operation. They're after a black book held by a mysterious Chinese man. He has links to a trafficking ring that forces women to work in Torture Clubs in Amsterdam, Athens, and Moscow. This black book filled with names, dates, and incriminating evidence could put a lot of people behind bars. This book will also free up hundreds, if not thousands, of girls being trafficked around the globe.These girls are referred to as The Abandoned, and Sarah is determined to locate the book and liberate them. She has more than she can handle, and Vivian's afraid for her because just doing her best won’t be good enough anymore.

The Cartel (Book Fifteen)

The Enzo Cartel has kidnapped Sarah Roberts’s boyfriend in Tijuana to lure Sarah to Mexico. Still, the cartel does not expect Sarah to come with Casper, a high-ranking government official, DEA agents, and a slew of others working with the Mexican authorities. Delay after delay has them locked in a hotel, waiting for something to happen. While Sarah is out at a café, their hotel is attacked by heavily armed hitmen. More than half the team is killed, and the cartel snatches Casper. Sarah needs help, and she finds it with an old friend from Italy, Darwin Kostas. Together they devise a Trojan Horse plan. While Darwin tracks her on GPS, she will act as bait to get inside the elusive cartel.Desperate, Sarah knows this is her only chance to find Aaron and Casper.

Another great job by Jonas Saul. I understand his putting Alex in putt Alex in a situation in this book since the book is about Alex, but in all others Alex is close to a Superman, always able to avoid those situations so this was why he played Alex down. It enabled him to put him in a life or death position,
