"Saga meets Johnny The Homicidal Maniac!" -Aint It Cool News
Fallen gods, sex magic, and quantum physics technowizards collide in Pizzolo and Wieszczyk's beloved modern classic about a boy wandering the wasteland in search of a new heart for his dying sister.
Strange world building and a unique art style. As for the story itself, who knows? This first issue throws a lot of it's weird world at you at once. I'm not sure what to think of it, besides the fact that it's apocalyptic world set up seems creative. 2.5 stars.
Godkiller? More like brainkiller. The story is baffling and I felt so confused. It does have dark tones but, that doesn't bother me as much. The art work is what really made me intrigued to pick up this comic. Some panels come across as sloppily put together but, overall it's stunning.
Rapey, shocky, violent, edgy comic for jerbangs. For the first half, the artist avoids drawing hands, and the effect is ridiculous. Collage style was kind of cool, like liner notes of a Spineshank album kind of way. Nu-metal comic, but completely humorless. Maybe it gets better? I won't bother finding out.
This wouldn't get less than 5 stars from me based on the strength of the art alone. It's outstanding. A mix of collage and drawing and very dark. I like it. :)
