What if your fated mate was just an app swipe away?

Andrea Bianco returns to Hope Valley after 12 years of living in New York. The sassy career girl claims she's on a break from her high-powered job, but old friends Melissa and Kristin just know she's hiding a big secret from them...

Meanwhile, sexy, sophisticated lion shifter Magnus Adams has made enough money to never have to work again. The only thing missing from his luxurious life is his mate. Luckily, someone's told him all about Shiftr - the secret dating app for curvy girls and shifter men - and he comes to Hope Valley hoping to find his match.

It's no surprise that Shiftr identifies the two extraverts as being purrfect for each other, but neither of them have dealt with their baggage, and Magnus's reckless urges soon offend Andrea's insecure nature, and the wrong type of sparks start to fly.

Magnus has a cunning plan for making it up to the curvy beauty. But will she be able to forgive him? And if they ever meet again, will Andrea's secret make her more irresistible to him, or will it be the end of them?

This is a standalone, short, sweet, steamy read, perfect for a lunch break, bath time, or a little dose of me-time, wherever you are. HEA and no cliffhanger!

Note: This book and all other books in the Hope Valley Dating App series are standalone and can be read completely independently.

4.5 stars!

Fun, sexy series! I've enjoyed all of the books thus far, but Andrea & Magnus' story may be my favorite. Andrea has spent her time putting on a false face of happiness to her friends and family. But when she gets fired from her NYC journalist job, she returns home to Hope Valley to find herself and rebuild. After learning of the Shiftr app, she decides to take a chance on finding someone special. Her perfect match is Magnus, well-to-do businessman and lion shifter, who wants to slow down and get off the big business fast track. But Magnus is so afraid of meeting a big-city, materialistic girl that when he sees Andrea's profile, he immediately makes an assumption based on her picture and begins to swipe right just as a message from her pops up.

Realizing his immediate mistake Magnus must now figure out how to find her or perhaps lose his chance of meeting his true mate.

I loved Andrea and Magnus. So much chemistry and fun. Recommended read!

Out of all 4 books so far this one is by far my most favorite. Andrea is a woman with parents that want more from her than she is willing to give but hides it under the mask she wears. She wants to break free of her parents life and live her own but unsure how to do that. Then she meets Magnus and everything starts to change for her. Magnus is cocky and so sure of himself but when he meets Andrea face to face things change for the both of them. The masks they wear are finally removed to show their true selves. Ariana Hawkes really pulled me in and let me feel all the emotions and laughter that is all through this book.

I received this book for an honest review.

Worth reaing for continuity's sake, but not as good as others.......

I did not like this one as much because of Magnus' behavior before he met Andrea. If he was so serious about finding his fated mate, then why was he sleeping around with women he knew weren't his mate??

DELICIOUSLY CUTE AND DELIGHTFULLY ENTERTAINING !!!
Title: Shiftr: Swipe Left for Love (Andrea)
Designation: Book Four of Series, Standalone Novella, NO Cliffhanger
Series: Hope Valley BBW Online Dating App Romance
Author: Ariana Hawkes
Platform: Kindle Unlimited
My Rating: FIVE ROARING STARS *****
Wow! I love it! I totally fell in love with this series after reading the first three books and could hardly wait to get my hands on the fourth. Well, it's HERE and it was totally worth the wait! The story is cute, sweet, humorous, fast-paced, light-hearted, fun, romantic, arousing and sexy as sin. Va..Va..Voom! The narrative is well written in the third person with multiple points of view. The dialogue is smart, sassy, well executed and flows effortlessly. The characters are funny, captivating, relatable and engaging. Hawkes skillfully combines these elements into a deliciously cute, delectably sweet and delightfully entertaining love story. The Hope Valley Online Dating App Series is a totally new and original concept that I found to be innovative, unique and modern with a fresh take on paranormal romance. Each book is a standalone novella featuring a different couple with their happily ever after. They are just the cutest books ever and quite apropos considering the popularity of today's online dating scene. Online dating sites have quickly become the Mecca for the forlorn, love-lost souls seeking love or in this case, a BBW human woman seeking a smexy shifter mate! Yowza!

Dina, Lauren, Kristen and Melissa are all now very happily mated to hot, hunky shifters Logan, Connor, Roman and Harley, all thanks to Tamika Montefiore, developer and owner of the Shiftr App and website. Shiftr is the secret dating app that connects curvy human women with shifter men. Once a woman is mated she has the opportunity to share the secret with one friend. Lauren started the ball rolling after she met bear-shifter Connor by sharing the secret with Dina. Once Dina mated with bear-shifter Logan, she shared the secret with Kristin. It didn't take Kristin long to find her perfect match and after mating tiger-shifter Roman, she shared the secret with sweet Melissa. Melissa found her true love with wolf shifter, Doc Harley and now it's her turn to pay it forward and share the Shiftr secret. And the lucky girl this time is Andrea Bianco, Kristin and Melissa's college friend. Andrea was a journalism major same as Kristin but unlike Kristin, she was ruthlessly ambitious and determined to become a big-time reporter in The Big Apple. She has always mocked Kristin for settling for less by choosing to work at their small-time, hometown paper, The Hope Valley Echo. It's been twelve years since their college graduation and Kristin nor Melissa have heard much from Andrea other than some group emails boasting about her amazing job and the even more amazing guys she's dating. But it seems that everything wasn't as amazing as Andrea made everyone to believe. As a matter of fact, the girls are beginning to suspect her fabulous career and wealthy Wall Street Banker boyfriend are nothing but fiction. Sadly, as it turns out, they would be right! Huh? That's right! It was all lies! None of it was true - no amazing boyfriend and even worse, she was fired from her job! What? Thirty four year old Andrea was jobless, broke and alone and has come back home to lick her wounds and try to get her life back on track and thanks to Kristin who is editor of the local paper, she at least now has a job as a subeditor. And she's about to blow that as well by not appreciating her job nor her friends. Now on the verge of losing her last chance for a happy life in Hope Valley, Andrea realizes she's been not only a poor employee but also an egotistical jerk and a very poor friend obsessed with only appearances and boasting. With everything on the line, she's begged for another chance and the girls now must decide whether they will trust her. Kristin and Melissa have their doubts until they discuss it with Tamika who volunteers to share the secret with Andrea and invite her to join Shiftr. Andrea is skeptical that anyone, much less the handsome, hot shifters she saw on the App would ever find her curvy body attractive but she decides to put it all on the line and take the plunge but her hopes are quickly crushed along with her heart when a handsome lion-shifter who turns out to be a 100% match rejects her. Oh my! She's so hurt that she immediately deletes her profile from the site. Oh no! What's a girl to do???
Lion-shifter Magnus Adams has made his fortune and is done traveling the world on business. He's more than ready to enjoy the fruits of his labor and that includes finding his mate. That's the main reason he has moved to Hope Valley and at the recommendation of his friend, Tamika Montefiore owner of Shiftr, he has agreed to sign up for App in hopes of finding his true mate. He's had dates with five of the women from the dating app but none of them have turned out to be his true mate. He hasn't found a single profile for anyone above an 82% match - until now. A beautiful woman who is a 100% match just contacted him but he made a snap judgement based solely on her hair style and just erased her from his feed. What? Oh no! He's made a terrible mistake! He's accustomed to making swift business decisions but mating and love are nothing like business. Once again he's let his hasty superficial impulses guide him. When would he ever learn? What's a lion to do? Contact Tamika, of course, but unfortunately, Tamika can be of no help because the woman in question has completely deleted her profile from the site and she's bound by privacy laws! Oh my! How would he ever find her??? No spoilers from me but I will say this....Beautiful curvaceous and sometimes superficial human journalist-check! Handsome, wealthy and often rash and superficial lion shifter-check! A wonderful cast of characters-check! A crisis of conscience-check! Two honest confessions-check! A secret dating app and four of the most wonderful friends a girl could ever have-check! Heated attraction, fiery passion, heartwarming romance, a little heartbreaking angst and some steamy dreamy sex-you bet! That and a whole lot more! Buckle up my lovelies and climb aboard the Shiftr train! You'll love it! It's a fun filled ride! It's just so dreamy....Sigh.... Deliciously cute, sinfully sexy, completely captivating and delightfully entertaining!
This is a standalone short story with NO cliffhanger and a wonderfully sweet happy-ever-after ending.

I just love this series. Each book is a standalone. The one thing I love about this series is that it is about a dating app for shifters. Tamika Montefiore is over this site and loves bring shifters with curvy beautiful women together.

Magnus was ready to find his mate. He was at the place in his life that he felt he would never find her. He was tired of the fast past business life and want to slow down a bit. He had moved to Hope Valley in hopes that Tamika could help him out.

Now my first impression of Magnus was not what I expected of a lion shifter. When I think of lions I think of a lazy creature. Now Magnus did have the prideful attitude I expect to find in a lion shifter. I truly liked him though but he did act before he thought most of the time.

Andrea knew what it was like to live a fake life, to be pressured by her parents to be something she was not or did not want to be, and I am not certain she truly knew what love was. It was kind of sad in a away. Her ego could not take another blow and Magnus did that without thinking.

I found it funny Magnus trying to come up with a way to impress and win Andrea and fell miserably. I am sure Tamika almost laughed that he had to swallow his pride and come to her for help. I know I would of gave him a hard time if it was me.

I love how the moment he laid eyes on Andrea he started thinking and planning for their future. It shows he was in it for the long haul and that is what Andrea needed in her life.

This was a great story and glad I got a chance to read the book.

Entertaining short reads, with a fun concept.

Since I don't normally write reviews unless I have something specific to say, here's the break down of how I rate my books...

1 star... This book was bad, so bad I may have given up and skipped to the end. I will avoid this author like the plague in the future.

2 stars... This book was not very good, and I won't be reading any more from the author.

3 stars... This book was ok, but I won't go out of my way to read more, But if I find another book by the author for under a dollar I'd pick it up.

4 stars... I really enjoyed this book and will definitely be on the look out to pick up more from the series/author.

5 stars... I loved this book! It has earned a permanent home in my collection and I'll be picking up the rest of the series and other books from the author ASAP.

Another great shifter read, this one focusing on Andrea and Magnus. Andrea comes back to Hopevalley with no idea of what to do next, so after Kristen and Melissa talk to her and decide to help she starts to see herself more clearly. Magnus has decided he wants a new life, away from all the hustle of his business world, so when Tamika gets a call from Melissa asking her to help Andrea, the wheels of fate start turning, will Andrea and Magnus get past misunderstandings? To get their HEA?
Love the story, plot, writing & characters. Nice romance, hot sex scenes, and again a great mingling of all previous characters.

I was happy to finally be getting the male pov in this book but it didn't last long as Magnus was awful! He spent most of the book lusting after other women. Some of them were already mated and hes checking out their tits and asses. Then he has sex with every women he goes on a date with on the app even though he knows there not his mate.

Andrea was just horrible. She looked down at everyone and everything. She made horrible comments to her friends and one of them friends even gave her a job and she did such a shitty job she nearly got fired.

When they were a 100% match on the app he swiped her away because she used to live in the city and had short hair. I hated been in his head, he was so superficial.

There first meeting was a disaster but next meeting they were in love. I am all for things moving fast in a novella but this was stupid

Shifters romance with steamy scenes

I just can't say enough about this series. It has a common thread of true mates but each character has its own challenges. A lion shifter wants his mate to be fierce and curvy will the Shiftr app have his true mate? I highly recommend this quick fun read.

Fake News

Boy, was Andrea pulling the fake persona, burying her lack of self esteem. She couldn't get away with the darkness. Looks like another job for Tamika.

I feel so bad that most of the women base their happiness on their thickness. Curvy women are the new trend. Men want some thickness to their romance

A Lions Share of Snarky

I honestly didn't like Andrea at first. Snobby and self absorbed. So when she proved to be vulnerable and open to actually making a new life is when I could start liking her. Magnus and Andrea do make a good couple, strong in spirit and ambition but real softies at heart.

Too Stubborn.

Andrea and Magnus: He was a business man who was retiring to Hope Valley and looking for his mate. She was returning home from living in NY were her life wasn't good. The characters will take you through twists and turns through out their journey to find each other.

Attitude is everything!

What happens when you take an impetus and arrogant lion shifter and a woman with low self esteem, and a snarky attitude together? Yep, another fun mating in Hope Valley. Love this series!

This is a nice addition to the series. I liked Magnus, but I would have like to see more of Andrea dealing with the changes in her attitudes about herself and her circumstances. I love the Shiftr app idea and the hero/heroine finding their mate.

Shiftr—-Andrea

This is the story of Andrea and Magnus. This is a short romance. It is in the style of the previous books in the series. There are sexual scenes that may offend some readers.

Not my fave

I didn't connect with either character, the enemies to lovers trope just isn't my thing. Magnus was just a no for me period, his character never really developed into something likeable. Andrea does kind of progress but barely.
