I like the first 69 pages as these were all about managing Acid Reflux and has some very good information on it. But the remainder of the book is recipes. Pretty disappointing that there isn't more on managing the problem.
I was so surprised at the content of this book that I came here to look for others' reviews. This book was published in 2015, but it's more than just outdated. Something seems very wrong with so many recipes that include tomatoes and other known trigger foods, like Spicy Tomato Juice, including red onion and jalapeño pepper! Seriously?? I'm considering suggesting it be removed from my public library since the recipes it includes could do significant harm.
I don’t advise anyone to use this book as a reference guide for healing acid reflux. The author uses trigger foods in almost every recipe and recommends peppermint which is a big No No!
Everyone has their own opinion about books but I can’t wait to try these recipes. Both me and my mother have acid reflux so well see if these recipients works.
