This was book 2 in the "Destined to Mate" series. Shifter Hardin Cross and human Clay Morgan are adapting to normal life as a couple. When Clay discovers that he is pregnant his life just got complicated he has to explain how a human male got pregnant. With the help of the pack they get through it. With the threat of a rival shifters it is going to take the whole pack to protect Clay and the unborn pup. This book has some really good sex scenes in it. This book was well written with no errors in grammar or spelling. I am looking forward to reading the next book in this series.

I was so disappointed in this second part to the story! Omega in Trouble was so well-written and intelligent but this is written in a very overblown and melodramatic style. The sex scenes are plentiful but so over the top with a "torrent of my own semen" and "I felt my soul almost lift a few inches from my body as I struggled to contain all this pleasure". To be fair the action/suspense portions with the military-like pack protection details for Clay were very good and the cliffhanger was excellent. I will try out the finale but I'm a little leery after this one.

Im getting hooked

Yes, okay, I'll admit......I'm getting a little more hooked. I'm annoyed though because the authors indicated that book 3 would be out September 18 on Amazon 'Omega in Ecstacy', and I can't find it anywhere. Hmph.

I'm still enjoying Hardin and Clay's adventures. Most of it is completely off the cuff, but there's something fun about it anyway.

Nothing quite like Brain Candy ;-)

Loving the journey!

See my review on "Omega In Trouble". TJ Cross is a new author and this series of shorter stories is a fun read. I just hope the MC, Clay, doesn't lose his youthful bits of humor and outlook on life as the story ratchets up cause then the series will become like so many others. I love Clay's youth in contrast to Hardin's more jaded experience. So far still loving the journey!

Great Second Part

I really liked this section of the story. The sexual scenes are hot. The characters are well developed and the secondary characters are being developed. No real violence just talking in military terms to set up possible war. Looking forward to final section.

Love it

So much is good about this story. Between Clay's parents and Hardin and his pack accepting everything and the threat from larger packs, it was a suspenseful story. Can't wait to read about the pack meeting.

Enjoyable short read. Not much happened in this installment. Things were just getting started and then we end in another cliffhanger. Next book was suppose to be out on the 18th so I will be watching for that!!!

This is a prime example of an author telling instead of showing, but even the telling is a confused mess. None of the plot is clear. DNF.
