I searched hard to find a text that would work best for the graduate class I teach in co-occurring disorders. This was by far the best I found as it includes all the research basics my students need to know along with Evidence based practice which was really hard to find.

Really informative book with a lot of good examples that make the information intelligible. I had to read it for a class, and can't imagine anyone reading it for fun, but who knows?

It's a good research book. Some chapters are to long, but most is straight to the point.
