The Dunquin Cove series starts to take more of a permanent shape in this second installment. This series is less humorous than you would normally expect from Rodney Riesel, and the plots are a bit less complex. In other words, they are great reads to just relax and read in your favorite chair with the libation of your choice. Like all the rest of his books these take you to another place, which is a big part of what I look for in a book. Well done, Rodney!

Excellent writing - Thin plot

The story line was a bit to basic in relation to many of the author's works. It had all the elements I have come to expect from this author but something was missing.

Mayhem, malice, misdeeds set aright

The town comes together when a new “security” company sets up shop to fend off the sudden vandalism and random acts of violence that suddenly blossom.

Good

A book that's the second in a series about a small town and a man who has lost his memory.

I can't seem to get enough of the stories by Rodney Riesel, what a great writer he is and I'm looking forward to his new book in December.
