Bean War: Conflict Resolution Between Me and You

Rate this book
A young girl is so scared by a pack of dogs that she doesn't leave the house for three years. Her father, in desperation, makes her a pretty blue bean shooter and that gives her the confidence to save the family and the town. A hundred years later, a 9th grade girl reads her story and decides that the only way to save her school is to get rid of all the bad boys. Because without fear, creativity flourishes. This is a story about two girls from another school that want to know the secret. They want to know about the Ants, and about the Queen, and especially about the BEAN WAR. A must read for everyone that thinks that high schools should be more than just a place to warehouse teenagers. And it's about conflict resolution. And how girls are much better at it than boys.
