Well, all five books in one book for one low price of less than 99 cents a book, how can you go wrong? The series, as a whole, is MUCH better than the books individually.

Five 5 star books in one. Actually, when read in order as ONE book, this series reads a lot better and is more fluid. It makes more sense, and the small irritating parts about the characters or ancillary characters are mush less so.

In short, this is a must read series for erotica lovers (All 5 books were #1 best sellers), MC Romance lovers, and/or Romance junkies.

A true must read series.

Making the Cut....
Sinfully perfect and exciting every step of the way...Avery and Axton are a breath of sinful air in this fresh but realistic look into a MC Club. Loyalty, honor, and commitment...to the club and each other, both Avery and Slice (aka Axton) are amazing individuals and strengthen as well as provide the POVs of this story.
Slim chances, lead to changes, which shape the progress of their journey getting to know each other. You just can't get enough of these two and their chemistry once they meet. Quick witted and definitely adventurous...Avery is a tuff as nails chick you instantly respect and admire for her no BS and intriguing take on life. Alpha biker and all business...Axton is sinfully written and devilish, but never backs down when it comes to getting what he wants. I can't wait to see if their adventures lead them to the same destination. A deliciously good read that I simply could not put down!!

Oh...My...God...OTIS!!! I mean...just...seriously??? There is something so sexy about a strong, confident, loyal, and dangerous man. (I mean there's no danger unless your out to hurt him or his family...aka brothers/parents/etc...) But OTIS is just yyuummmmyy...mmm.mmm.mmmm. I would never wanna piss him off mind you, but to have all that male-ness, DAMN...and to think he has been alone (by choice) for fourteen years, both breaks my heart and want to root for him to find happiness, somehow. He has been in the back-ground during the first two books and we learned a little about him then, but this book...geez-louise I loved his family, yes the brothers too (especially Biscuit)!
Then we have Sam....oh sweet, sexy, sassy, sexually-deprived Sam....*giggles* 14 plus years being without the man she loved most, brings him back front and center at the event of her mothers death. (which talk about a super-freak accident...holy hell i don't know where Scott comes up with this s***!...LMAO) And destiny will not be denied as they are on a collision course of a reunion. Whirl-wind doesn't even come close....THEY ARE A HURRICANE!! Lust, passion, emotions that i can't even come close to putting into words just drip off the pages and consume you as you watch...YES WATCH!...Sam and OTIS rekindle a love that never died.
The book is as sinfully sexy as any of his other favorites of mine...giving both Erik and Ripp and even Christy a run for their money!! I dont know how Scott does it, but the magic and shear emotions and heat that come off the pages will leave you in a puddle of WANT...what kind of WANT? The kind where you WANT to quench your own fires he ignited and WANT to know more about the brothers in the club. I know that I will always WANT his next books because they keep getting better and better and always leaving me feeling something as well as a lesson of some sort to take away from the book.

Hung....
Oh how I have waited for this book.....in all the previous Selected Sinners Series books you get stories told by the infamous Biscuit...well let me say....HOLY TONGUE LASHING!! I mean...well...exactly what I said, a tongue lashing that makes every woman quiver, shake, moan and scream in pleasure!! And his 'third leg'...yeah....ummm, porn stars should be jealous....and ladies, you don't have to wait but 10-15 minutes for MORE! He is hilarious, light-hearted, honest (although can tell a tall-tale), and so very loyal to his brothers. #sinnerforlife #devillooksafterhisown But there is so much to Biscuit that you just can't help but LOL and love <3 !
OH how he has his way with women....hot, wild and carefree! So many women, I mean RFOF is his motto and he certainly is a God-ly gifted man.
Kat is the ying to his yang, sexually she is a spitfire and their romps (where-ever they may happen) are HOT, HOT, HOT! She likes the bad boys and has not always walked away unscathed. But with Biscuit...SMOLDERING HEAT is what happens before the EXPLOSIONS!...and we're not talking fireworks either (unless the ones behind her eyelids count...hehehe). She has a past that comes back to bite her in the ass, but when the cards fall as they may....lets just say....NAH...read it and find out... :P
Mr. Hildreth has done it again and I can say one of the best yet....from tieing in all the books to match the timeline, utter perfection. I have been and will always #oneclick any book he publishes, because no matter what, you get a story...and it usually leaves you FEELING GOOD!

Ex-Con....
A love story like none other, but with all the finesse of an epic tale. Jack and Em's love goes beyond convention to the realms of a pure and simple soul connection women dream about. Despite the bumps in the road, their journey was breathtaking and beautiful. Promises are meant to be kept and respect is earned when given. I can't say enough about how utterly epic and enjoyable this story was.
You get all your favorites from the Sinners series along with the "UN" group, and you're gonna laugh, cry, and applaud throughout. From start to finish I couldn't put it down. A must read love story. #oneclick #thedevillooksafterhisown #selectedsinnerforlife

Making the Cut

I liked Avery, the female lead, more than I liked Axton, the male lead. She made me want to keep reading while he just fell a little flat for me. I was a little disappointed that the build up to their steamy scenes took so long, and once it happened the book was pretty much over. I'm interested in the side characters that will have their own books in this series, so I will give it another shot.

Taking the Heat

Simply put, I didn't like this book.

It took my almost 2 months to finish this book, which says a lot because I usually finish them in a couple of days, if not the same day. TWO MONTHS. I felt Toad's background and internal dialog stretched out far too long and made me start skimming his chapters because I couldn't hold interest. Sydney's character was actually my preference for this book, much like how I liked the female lead more than the male in book 1 of this series. With her family history with a different MC and Toad's military experience, I thought this story was going places. Unfortunately for me, it hit a dead end and I really only read it to pass time when I only had a few minutes to spare and didn't want to start in on a new book. I was looking forward to this series and have been disappointed with the first two books. I can't count how many times I almost declared this a DNF book and moved on. I did actually finish it and part of me is still wondering why. I've read somewhere to read this series as a whole to really get the full experience, but I just can't do it. Since I have the box set downloaded, I can always go back and start the next book in hopes it picks up for me, but I doubt it will be anytime soon.

Book 1--In Making the Cut, you will Love this beginning for Scott Hildreth's MC series.
Book 2--SD Scott Hildreth keeps the angst and grit going in the 2nd Book of his Selected Sinners MC series.
Book 3--We get back into the Brother's lives and the Club's business. The twist and angst in this telling is just as strong and gritty as in the first two books, with Hot thrown in for Otis & Sam.
Book 4 in Scott Hildreth's Selected Sinners MC series, Hung is focused on Dalton's elevation to a whole new life he has Never thought of for himself. To the Brothers he is Biscuit, the brother with the perfect story. Wonderous MC bookset

Every MC bookset I have read by Scott has left me a smile on my face.
Unfortunately I rated this box set with four stars because the final book of Jackson was so much repeated from another book I felt there could have been more to the ending. Jackson's story was the one I was excited to read and felt kind of shorted.
This is of course my opinion but I will say I enjoyed the parts that weren't repetitious.

I must say this box set, at the time of purchase, was awesome value for money! A great gift from the author to his loyal readers. Thank you, Scott!

I really enjoyed this series as a whole. I really liked all the main characters and the relationships that developed. I liked all the happy endings.

I found the guys were like minstrels - had a hard shell but inside they could melt; sometimes I found them a bit too sweet with their women, considering they were 1%! I then bring myself back to reality and say this is fiction!!!

I liked the sassiness of all the heroines; they weren't afraid to stand up to their men or for themselves. There was a recurring theme throughout all the books that all the females did not have many female friends as they didn't like the bitchiness that goes along with being female. I must say I do agree with this sentiment and women of certain ilks will join with women of similar ilks.

There was a lot of God discussion throughout the books, too. I'm not sure whether the author is trying to justify his belief through his writing or justify his belief but without the worshipping and attending church weekly. This didn't fit comfortably with my perception of 1% outlaw motorcycle club members as criminal activity goes against the beliefs of many faiths. This may have been thrown in deliberately to allow the reader to feel more empathy toward the heroes and to allow justification of their criminal activities e.g. staging a suicide when it really is murder but it's OK because I believe in God!!! Again, I remind myself this is fiction.

This is a series but the books can be read as standalone novels and not necessarily in order. This is very evident when you read them as a series and in order as the last 3 books have a lot of cross over in them. I found this a bit tedious as I was reading them as a series and in order. It was 2 or 3 pages worth and in my opinion, this was too much. Hinting at or briefly talking about areas of cross over would have been better rather than repeating what had already been written.

I must say that there were a lot of misspells in the books - not a complete distraction but a more thorough edit could rectify these.

I enjoy reading Scott's books as I do like to read a man's perspective on things and I really like the genre. I look forward to reading more of his work in the future.

This is a great series, it follows this MC club members. Each book is based on one main member, but the others are very much involved. All have a different story to tell and all are gripping, interesting and well worth reading. I'm well and truly hooked on these guys, all are strong but vulnerable each having had their own past problems. I especially fell in love with Otis and Jack, but Slice, Toad and Biscuit reached out to me as well. The women they each hook up with, again all have issues to deal with, insecurities that have left them alone for a large part of their lives. The love Jack finds with Em brought tears to my eyes, they were so right for each other what happened just kept me glued to the pages. I just had to read till I finished it.. Their is some violence and sex, the swearing and some BDSM as well. It's not too graphic or to extreme but is part of each story, nothing is out of control it is all in proportion to each book. I haven't checked but I hope there's more to come in this series.

For myself I loved these characters & their stories. I feel there should be more to each of them (epilogues). It was the style of writing that doesn't do it for me. These books took me longer to read due to what I call too much "character thinking" (possibly Introspection?). Each book has a GREAT deal worth of it, with book 4 having the least amount that I recognized.
My order of favorites is:
Book 4-Hung-Biscuit (Dalton) for his responsibility in stepping up. And his humor!

Book 3-Otis-Otis (Steve) for his second chance at his first love & his reaction in the end to change.

Book 2-Taking the Heat-Toad (Cambio) for his heroism & selflessness.

Book 1-Making the Cut-Slice (Axton) for being human & able to let love in.

Book 5-Ex-Con-Killer/Big Jack (Jackson) for his commitment & loyalty to himself & the ones he truly values.

I have read and reviewed each one of these books and I can honestly recommend them to everyone to enjoy. Mr. Hildreth, as an author excels at challenging his readers to expand their perspective and to see the world through a different set of glasses. The Selected Sinners MC series was my first MC series and I can tell you that this author did an OUTSTANDING job in bringing this reader into understanding the brotherhood and dynamics of motorcycle clubs. Each book is wonderful and different individually and at the same time the series rocks as a whole. You will be taking on a completely different ride in each story and HONESTLY the ride will get better with each book. This series is an absolute MUST READ!!!

This is one of my most favorite MC Series ever! I love all of the characters, the sexy bad boys and their strong amazing women that they love! Each story is truly unique and has a meaningful storyline that grabs you right from the start and stays with you until long after the last word. Mr. Hildreth is a very talented and exceptional author that has become one of my most favorite and always will be.
If you haven't read this series, you are seriously missing out! Start at book #1 and read each of them so you can understand each of the couples and the brotherhood in this MC. I promise you won't be disappointed!

Holy smoking hotness in a box set!

Having never read an MC book before, or any book from this author, I thought I'd try this set out. I liked the first book that featured Axton, but by the time I finished with Jackson's story, I was an absolute mess! LOVE LOVE these guys! Well done, Scott Hildreth!! You have a new fan! And I look forward to reading more of your books!

Outstanding series! Ex-Con (book 5) was my favorite in set, but I had a special place in my heart for book's hero, Jackson. All are great though, so really worth a weekend of binge reading
