Holly Newcastle first saw the Amish on a summer trip through Minnesota as a teenager, espying them from a neighboring farm. These quiet, gentle people have fascinated the author ever since. A lover of romance and history, she's achieved her dream of writing about a fictional Amish family in the "Faith in Peril Trilogy".

A New York native, Holly lives in Colorado Springs with her husband and two children. She enjoys gardening, hiking, and traveling, but only when she's able to tear herself away from the computer, which does not happen often enough.

This is a set of books featuring each sister separately. It covers the daily life of Amish, rules, requirements of coming of age to court. There is also the good and sad parts to their life, as in all families.
