The Mark: Feral, Episode Two

Rate this book
This romance brought to you by the end of the world...

He was just a teenager, hollow and lost, looking to keep the past buried, to forget. Surviving wasn't so much instinct as it was a hobby. He surfs the backwash of the westward migration across a dead America; a war-torn desolation devoid of electricity, infrastructure and civilization.

It has become a strange and unrecognizable land, rife with the worst of humanity.

And his was a life without hope, equally dark and solitary.

Until he meets Emily; until he meets Feral.

Once was boy, selfish and directionless.

Now is love.

Now is reason.

Now is vengeance.

They are his vow, his purpose, and to save them, he'll murder the world.

Author's Note: Feral is an ongoing Serialized story.

Amazing!
PJ Post has grabbed my attention and is holding it.
Our hero, who still remains nameless, Feral and Emily are on a journey. They aren't sure where they're headed, just that they need to keep one step ahead of the others: Crayton, savages, the Cart People.
In their journey, they meet more refugees - people trying to survive, trying to thrive.
Introducing new characters, we wonder what will happen, and who they should trust.
I cannot wait for the next installment! PJ Post knows how to keep you wanting more!!

Okay, I'm hooked.
This book is more real and violent than most of the glossed over dystopian novels. The good guys do bad things. Horrible things happen to wonderful people. I enjoyed the rawness without so much gore.
And yes, the scarf does come off. Wait for it, wait for it.....
So worth it.
