Rate this book
This book is designed for an Introduction to Philosophy course in higher education. It is divided into six major themes which comprise on-going dialogues in the history of philosophy. Additionally, this book explores the three most prominent moral theories used in modern philosophy to examine a wide range of contemporary political and social issues. It is written in an easy to understand, conversational style. While designed for use in higher education it would be a way for anyone who has been interested in what philosophy has to “say” on a wide range of big questions, a chance to glimpse into this world.
