This is a new author to me and I consider myself lucky enough to read the Sattely Security series as a whole. There are 10 parts or books in this series and this number one. These stories are short in length but contain everything you need in a great read. The story line is fast but smooth and concise. The characters and pleasantly flawed but grow throughout the story and soar to their HEA, at this least in this book. This is April and Jason's story, like I said these characters have pasts that have effected their present and future. However, when April witnesses a murder she turns to the only man she trusts for help, Randy Sattely of Sattely Security. Randy puts Jason on April's detail to watch over her as being a key witness to a murder has put her life in danger. During this story we get to meet a few of the guys that work for Sattely Security and I cannot wait to read and learn more about each of these guys.
These stories are great, they a punch and are quick to read, they are perfect!

This was the first of a series of books about the Sattely Security Agency. In this book, April witnessed a murder and was to be put under protection by the agency until she could testify. Jason was the agent assigned to protect her at first, but the reader gets to meet several of the Sattely agents as they had to rotate shifts to protect her. But it was Jason she was attracted to, and she and Jason have some great sex scenes in the book. But Jason was hurt badly when an ex dumped him and was not quite ready for a new relationship. Plus April had promised to keep a relationship with Randy Sattely (head of the agency) a secret, so Jason didn't know where he stood with her. So could the agency keep her safe? What exactly was her relationship with Randy? Could she and Jason reach an HEA? I recommend this book as a short read for those who like action, adventure, and romance.

Boys and their toys but the life with those toys...

This is an explosive book that you can't seem to put down. You get lost in the characters and look forward to more. The trials and tribulations that people go through in life can either break us or make us stronger. We learn from what we do and can either grow from it or have it hold us back. Not everyone's lives are full of roses and sunshine and making the best of what we can do with the choices we make, seems to make all the difference. I look forward to reading more of the series.

This is the first book in the Sattely Security Agency series. The author brings strong characters in Jason and April and weaves an intriguing story, moves it quickly and smoothly and gives them a super hot chemistry. Both are holding back for reasons of their own. The story is filled with tons of action and I enjoyed reading. Looking forward to more.

I liked the plot, the characters, the danger and falling in love, story was short, I could have kept on reading, can’t wait for the second Sattely Security II book. Has HEA and I do recommend as a good book to read.

I really enjoyed the storyline but felt it was a bit too short and that the drama was built up too much and resolved far too quickly. Would still recommend though!

I am so excited to read this book. It is a great story and quite entertaining and engaging there are totally unexpected scenes, twist and turns with realistic details.
