Jayne Roberts looks like the typical girl next door. Shy, unassuming, quiet... She is also New York City's newest sexual serial killer, with a unique MO and target group - attractive young men. The police assume the perpetrator must be a man and Jayne goes unsuspected by everyone except one man, her therapist. Dr Michael Lassiter. But Lassiter's feelings for Jayne go way beyond that of a normal Doctor/patient relationship. In fact she becomes his obsession. And rather than alert the authorities, Lassiter believes he can actually cure her homicidal impulse with a unique psychological treatment known as The Rendering. What dark secrets will The Rendering reveal and can he cure her before she takes the next victim that she has her sights set on - him?
“ A chilling psychological thriller that leaves you wanting more.”
I couldn’t put the book down. All I could think about is killer. Scary good characters and the plot twist is not at all what I would of have expected. It’s excellent!
