"Super amazing Shifter Romance!"
The is an awesome book!. The story line is so intense and compelling!. The Characters are fantastic!. This book is about a curvy woman Charlotte aka Char who's life was changed forever when her ex.boyfriend dumped her in the middle of no-wheres. Char and several others was bitten by werewolves at that time.Sheriff Kane had been turned some time before so now he is helping Char and the others to cope with their new lives. One day Char over hears a couple of human Men talking about hunting wolves. This freaks her out and she takes off because she is having trouble with shifting when she gets up set. As she is heading for the woods she runs smack into Sheriff Kane. For some reason Kane feels highly attracted to Char even though she is nothing like the women he usually dates as he dates shinny gals lol. Kane helps Char stop her shift and sends her on her way. Then later he gets a call of someone is shooting at a wolf. Could it be Char?. This amazing book is stocked full of suspense,action and steamy hot romance! It is another Michelle Fox 5-star plus book!

Who'd have thought knocking Sheriff Studly down in a panic would lead Charlotte to true love and a happily ever after.
'Moon's Law' by Michelle Fox is the second book in the New Moon Pack series and also part of the Multi-Author Bite of the Moon Collection of stand alone paranormal romances. I was given a copy by the author in exchange for an honest review and I loved it. I was glued to this story like white on rice from beginning to end and really didn't want to put it down, but it isn't short and took me two days to read.
This terrific paranormal romance is slightly different to the norm in werewolf true mate romances because the two people involved were turned by being bitten, are part of the brand new Glen Vine pack and being guided in their new lives, along with the others who were also bitten, by the rogue's three brothers. But all are struggling to come to terms with what they are now and to make matters worse, a hunter has come to town and has his sights firmly set on killing all of them but starting with Charlotte Wills.
Desperately trying to get to the woods before her wolf makes an inconvenient appearance on the main street, Charlotte runs smack into Kane Martin, a man, now wolf, she's had a crush on since high school and secretly refers to as Sheriff Studly. Charlotte doesn't want to get involved with him for several very good reasons, one being her ex, and another being that Kane is a man-slut who's slept his way through most of the county and she really isn't prepared to become another notch on his bedpost. But her wolf has other ideas.
Kane Martin, Sheriff of Glen Vines and happy bachelor has no intention of settling down, but because of the interfering town gossip, Georgia Harris, gets involved with Charlotte in a ludicrous plan to throw of his determined mother. It doesn't work and he discovers he really wants to keep her forever, but persuading her she's his one and only is more than an uphill struggle.
No more spoilers, you really need to read this book for yourself. It has some fantastic characters, really funny bits and really heartbreaking bits as the new wolves fight to stay alive, keep their wolves under control and their secret hidden, as well as action, steam and a happily ever after. There are no cliff-hangers here, but the threads are left open for more books in this series and I can't wait to read the next one. A really great read which I highly recommend.

Becoming a werewolf has rattled the tough-guy, sex stud sheriff of Glen Vine and now Kane Martin has bigger problems someone’s shooting at the curvy Charlotte Willis in this exciting paranormal romance.
Charlotte thought that being dumped and being turned into a werewolf was hard but trying to get her life back on track isn’t going very well at all and the reader can’t help but get drawn into all the non-stop excitement as Kane and Charlotte discover that life has a funny way of going sideways when you least expect it. The characters are strong and captivating, the chemistry is sizzling and the relationship is full of emotional turmoil that readers can relate too while the fast paced, smooth flowing plot draws readers in with suspense, excitement and romance with tension building throughout the story as Kane and Charlotte find out about Hunters and the danger to them and their new pack escalates.
I was completely caught up in Kane and Charlotte’s story from the very beginning. The New Moon Wolves have some intriguing elements and fascinating characters and I can’t wait to become more acquainted with them.

To ALL my friends who read paranormal books. I had the great pleasure of reading Moon's Law before it is due to release. It is the second book of New Moon Wolves. First Moon is the first book out. I have enjoy reading these two books. YES it is another werewolf book but different. What would you do if a crazy werewolf bit you and was able to control you and made you do things against your will. Come on in to First Moon and meet Audrey who was bitten and fight for her life and Tao who tries to help.
And In Moon's Law you will meet Sheriff Kane who was bitten along with other town folks. What was the reason a CRAZE werewolf had to bite the people.

Wow! Michelle pulls the reader right into Glen Vine and immerses the reader back into the unwillingly turned werewolf culture there as the natural born werewolves try to help them with the transition. Even while following Charlotte and Kane through their newfound attraction, we dip deeper into the pack and are introduced to more characters, different powers, and new dangers that face the fledgling pack. Michelle Fox weaves a compelling, thorough story that keeps the reader interested and moving forward. Her characters have depth and sustinance, living and loving on the page. I can't wait for the next book!

This is the second in a series of shifter romances that take place after a group of townspeople have been shifted against their will. It certainly can be read as a stand alone but personally I would have liked to have read the story where the townspeople were actually turned. So this book features Kane and Charlotte who are both new to shifting. Kane, the town sheriff, has a history of one night stands and never with women as curvy as Charlotte. However, when he comes to Charlotte's rescue from a crazy hunter, things change.
This was a fun paranormal romance. The scenes portraying Charlotte as the date from Hell were hysterical.

Kades having a bad day he's been bitten by a rogue were.... He's the local sherif he's tall he's hot and he never has trouble with women he got a player rep. And he has Charlotte in his sights a woman who has knocked him of his feet, she's different to what he normally wants so curvy and fiery and very sexy and smells so nice.
Charlotte has been bitten by the rogue, her partner fiancé decides he wants more an open relationship and is screwing her college roomie, she has guys trying to kill her, shooting at her, she's up set and Kane is the only one can settle her wolf, and he smells so nice.

I loved this shifter story! You have a cop , one that has this tough attitude, but Turning into a werewolf has messed him all up. Now he's trying to save his pact and also be himself as best he can lol. But he can't seem to get his mind off of Charlotte a feisty bbw who is going through emotional hell herself, she's just be dumped , she's also turned, and She now has the sheriff sniffing around . Just what she needs! He loves her courage, her strength, and is trying to help her understand what he loves about her. The sex scenes were Omg!! Hot hot!! I wouldn't expect anything less though with Michelle Fox :) read it to find out what happens between the 2 and you may get a few surprises !

I love a good shifter romance and Moon's Law is a good one. This one had a bunch of outcast shifters trying to create their own pack...who doesn't love an underdog story?

overhearing a conversation at the local java makes charlotte be on edge. more likely her wolf. she doesn't know how fast she wants to get away to prevent shifting in front of humans who don't know werewolves are fact and not just things that go bump in the night. rounding a corner she crashes into Kane, the local sheriff, luckily also a made werewolf like herself. antsy as her wolf is to run free , kane's nearness subdues her wolf and
he desire to shift goes away. calm enough to return to the java and pick up her car, kane is left behind to deal with an old bitty that has seen charlotte crashing into him and makes it into a tale that they're getting married! trying hard to convince her that is not true, he gives up and goes after charlotte, wanting to make sure she made it back in one piece. only he still finds her car in the parking lot next to the java and just a bit further he finds her purse. alarmed at what happened he starts to search for her just as he gets called in for a check up about a few shots that been heard nearby. once he hears who's involved and why he doesn't hesitate to do the check up himself, hoping that the wolf they were after isn't charlotte.
as he arrives it's clear who were the shooters and he swiftly locks them up in his cruiser and then sets out to look for the wounded wolf. he finds charlotte, limping and bloody. stubborn and proud she wants to get home on her own but she relents to kane who makes the journey twice as fast as he carries her in wolf form. making sure she's ok and taken care of kane returns to his cruiser. not even making the small clearing where it stood, he's getting shot at. the shooter is skilled and very much in the know about werewolves because he doesn't give up and doesn't even care that while trying to shoot kane he also shoots the two humans trapped in the back of the cruiser.
Kane manages to alert Tao about what is happening.
this all sets the start of a race against time and huge issues to try an keep things under wraps because they still don't want the humans to know about werewolves.
next to this all kane is struggling with his sudden, but insistent nudging wolf, attraction to charlotte; she smells so nice and she calms him like no other. on top of this all he still has to deal with his mother, who's now convinced he's having a girlfriend and wants him to bring her over for dinner. can things get any worse?
you'll have to pick up your own copy to find out! luckily the book ends without a cliffhanger but that still doesn't mean everything is smooth sailing!
if you enjoyed the previous ones in the series then you just have to get this one too.

When having coffee at the local coffee shop, Charlotte over heard two men talking about hunting, this upsets her which trigged her beast to want to shift to protect her. Scared she would shift right in front of them, she ran out of the coffee shop, only to collide with the Sheriff. That gorgeous sexy smelling hunk of a man! Charlotte knows Kane has a history of one night stands, and never with women as curvy as her. To save herself, she has kept her distance. She tells the sheriff what she overheard, and he promises to look into it.
Kane gets distracted by Georgia Harris, not only the local town gossiper, but a friend of his mom’s. Of course, Georgia sees Kane with Charlotte and assumes that Kane is dating Charlotte. Kane sends Charlotte back to the coffee shop to get her car. Of course Georgia calls his mom and she asks him to dinner, and to bring his girlfriend. Kane, not wanting to hurt his mom feelings, agrees. This leads to Kane agreeing with Charlotte and her plan to be the girlfriend from hell.
As Charlotte walks back to her car she sees the two men and she starts to get upset again. Running from the men, she hides so she can shift and wolf it home. On her way home she finds herself being shot at, not only by the two men, there is someone more dangerous out there and he has Charlotte and the rest of the newly turned werewolves in his sight. He is the hunter and they are his prey.

Bite of The Moon was an exceptional story of a young woman Charlotte who is trying to control her wolf side she hears two guys talking in the coffee shop while she is sitting minding her on her own business but listening to them whine about the wolves and how they want to kill them to stop the howling at night because they cannot get any sleep she knows that they run together with the pack at night but she doesn't think that they are keeping up a lot of noise while they play but the more they talk about it the more she gets upset then she is so upset she cannot keep her wolf hidden she knows that nobody in town knows that there are werewolves running around and she starts to turn and runs away but runs right into Sheriff Kane Martin who tries his best to calm her down so she want turn and it works for a while but then she is on her way to her car and has a run in with the same two men again and one tries to take advantage of her because she is a full figure woman and she has to defend herself from them both then her wolf comes out again and she runs away before they see her but she runs home but it happens that the men see a wolf running along side the road on the other side of the bushes and they pull their guns and shoot and Char gets hit and the sheriff receives a call that about shots being fired and he happens to see Char's car still sitting at the coffee shop when he had told Char to go home and then he found her purse under a bush and he figured it could be her that was being shot at he high tales to find out what is going on on the way he thinks about how he had been aware that he felt something for Charolett that he hadn't notice before he became a wolf himself but she had a body that he want above any woman he had been with before and he wanted her for himself but when he got to the location he saw the two guys that Char told him about and they had their guns out and he had heard the shooting and they said they think they hit the wolf and he arrested them and left them in his car and he went to see if it was Char or some other person or wolf and it was Char she was not that far from home but she was hurt and he helped her home and spent a little time their and then he went back to his car and someone was shooting at him and this is where this story turns into a thriller suspense romance. Recommend the series. 18 And older. I received a copy for an honest review.

Ms. Fox continues from the end of Book 1
with Tao and his brother's Kai and Leo who are natural born wolves are trying to help all the towns people that there brother Nick bit to make his own Pack.
Charlotte Wills (Char) is a BBW who grew up in Glen Vine, Michigan never going anywhere except when she left to go to college, she was home on vacation kinda, little did she know she would literly licking her wounds. Her parents weren't home they where out traveling the country Thank Goodness they can't see her. But now how can she go back to her old life, when here she is trying to control her wolf, which is very hard, she comes out when she wants too. Can you imagine sprouting fur in the coffee shop, or better yet in the class room.
Sheriff Kane Martin of Glen Vine was a very well built stud. Yep Kane loved his women, bone skinny and fake boobs. With a reputation of a one night stand and the women were lined up. Kane was a good Sheriff he was honest, dependable and bitten by Nick. This was really screwing him being a Werewolf and the Sheriff. Then you had "Moon's Law" which is Pack Protects Pack, no matter what. Even worse after Char ran into him he couldn't get her smell out of his mind the things he would do to her. Charlotte Wills (Char) is a BBW who grew up in Glen Vine, Michigan never going anywhere except when she left to go to college, she was home on vacation kinda, little did she know she would literly licking her wounds. Her parents weren't home they where out traveling the country Thank Goodness they can't see her. But now how can she go back to her old life, when here she is trying to control her wolf, which is very hard, she comes out when she wants too. Can you imagine sprouting fur in the coffee shop, or better yet in the class room.
Sheriff Kane Martin of Glen Vine was a very well built stud. Yep Kane loved his women, bone skinny and fake boobs. With a reputation of a one night stand and the women were lined up. Kane was a good Sheriff he was honest, dependable and bitten by Nick. This was really screwing him being a Werewolf and the Sheriff. Then you had "Moon's Law" which is Pack Protects Pack, no matter what. Even worse after Char ran into him he couldn't get her smell out of his mind the things he would do to her. Meet Kane Martin, the sexy stud of a sheriff of Glen Vine, Michigan. He is also a newly turned werewolf. He is not the only one to become one lately. Not only does he protect his town, but now protect the pack.
Charlotte Wills can not believe how much her life has changed in just a short time, thanks to her ex boyfriend Colton. He not only used her, but ended up leaving her along with others to be attacked by a werewolf. Now instead of going to classes at college, she now has to deal with growing fur and the beast inside her.
When Charlotte hears 2 road workers talking about how the wolves are keeping everyone up at night with their howling. They think they should eliminate some of them.Charlotte feels agitated and knows her wolf is close to surface so she leaves and runs smack dab into sheriff Martin, literally knocking them both down.Oops.
She tells the sheriff what she overheard, and he promises to look into it.
After a run in with the 2 men again, Charlotte takes off to run in her wolf form. When she is just about home, shots are fired. But it's not only the 2 road workers shooting at her, there is someone more dangerous out there and he has Charlotte and the rest of the newly turned werewolves in his sight. He is the hunter and they are his prey.
And thanks to the local gossiper Georgia Harris, she tells Kane's mother he is getting married,which starts all sorts of problems. Charlotte is just a friend and not his girlfriend but Kane's mom invites him to dinner and bring the lucky girl, all hell breaks loose.
Will the Hunter find the pack? will Charlotte give in to her pull to Kane and vise versa? Only time will tell.

Charlotte Willis was dumped by her ex-boyfriend Colton and bitten by a werewolf. She was raging against men. Her life as the other ones bitten by the werewolf had changed. She had to put everything on hold and think about her new life. She was worried because she heard something that upset her and was triggering her shift. Scared she ran out only to collide with Sheriff Kane Martin. That gorgeous hunk of a man! He calmed her and stopped her shift. Strange, he was feeling desire to put his hands on Charlotte’s body and she was not even his type. He left and when he received a call from the sheriff’s office saying gun shots were heard he went to investigate fearing for Charlotte. He found her hurt in the bushes and took her home lusting for her luscious curves. But that was not all. Gossip runs wild! He had been seen early with Charlotte and now his mother thought he had a girlfriend. More problems ahead with this two. To top things there were hunters in the loose looking to kill all the wolves and the pack needed a plan to deal with this and quickly. Another strong woman that Charlotte. My heart was drumming when she was fighting the menace. The action was intense. That’s why I love this stories. Make me felt part of the action with the vivid descriptions and good dialogs. Lot of violence, intrigue and suspense in the plot. The way the author worked about Charlotte’s and Kane feelings was interesting and sensible. Hard to deal with betrayals, sudden changes and despair for what you have to do. Liked a lot Charlotte’s thoughts about they been together “ it was about healing and holding each up until they could stand on their own again”. Lovely. I was touched. Took it’s time in the story but it was wort it. The author rocks! Received the ARC for an honest review.

What a great concept!!! I missed the first book in this series - don't know how I managed that but it will soon be rectified!!! BUt that was no barrier to truly getting stuck into this series.
What's a town to do when a good chuck of it's citizens have been bitten by a rogue werewolf??? They are slowly coalescing into a pack and structuring themselves into a hierarchy but there are lots of bumps in the road and it is in no way plain sailing.
Charlotte was dumped by her ex-boyfriend and to top it off then bitten by a werewolf. She has had to put off going back to school as she is terrified she'll lost control of her new wolf, after all she can barely get down Main Street without almost going wolfy!!!!
Then there is Sheriff Kane Martin. Her wolf seems to listen to him and calm in his presence but she can hardly drag him around with her 24/7 can she?? Kane is also confused cos Charlotte is not his usual type of girl but he can't seem to get his mind off of her!
But the danger they faced has not entirely gone. There are hunters targeting the town and they seem to have Charlotte especially in their sights. How will the townfolk cope with this new peril in their midst? Will they finally settle into their new level of normal?
I loved this book!! Action, adventure, thrills and suspense with a heavy dollop of lusty romance!!! The banter between characters is brilliant and no spoilers, but Charlotte makes one scary gold-digging girlfriend, worthy of scaring off any marriage minded mother of the potential groom!!! I was laughing out loud at some of the exploits!!!

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This is the second book in this series it can be read as a stand alone, but the first book should be read to understand all of the references made in this book.
In this book we meet Kane and Charlotte. Kane is the town sheriff and though he has been bitten he believes that as a lawman he still needs to uphold right from wrong. The problem for him is the lines between right and wrong are becoming blurred. These days he not only has the human population of Glen Vine to consider but also the pack as well. One of his latest things to deal with is the chance that he has found his mate and that confuses him more than anything.
Charlotte is new to being a werewolf and all she wants is to find a job and earn enough money to get back to school. Charlotte wants to be a librarian and isn't sure that with her changes if this is even going to be possible. When the book starts out she is inside the local coffee house listening to two men as the counter talk about hunting the wolfs that have started popping up. This brings Charlotte's werewolf to the surface and she knows that she has to get out of their fast. When she has her next run in with the men the previous shift she though she had under control with the help of Kane suddenly flares up. This is only the beginning of this pairs problems.
This is an amazing book about love, acceptance and finding the right balance between what is right and what you can accept as truth. In this book you will find many twists and turns to this story that will have you wondering what will happen next and will this couple really get a HEA. I would highly recommend it.

I received this arc for an honest review. The small summer tourist town of Glen Vine, had a rash of attacks, nine in total, leaving nine new werewolves learning how to be well werewolves. That doesn't make it easy when you have people talking of hunting them down and killing them, because they are tired of the howling. Charlotte is one of those turned wolves just trying to get by, so is the locale sheriff, Kane. Who she thinks is very hot. I'm just saying. There were a few werewolves who stuck around after the attacks, to help with the aftermath. The turned werewolves still weren't getting the hang of not just busting out in fur and fangs. Control seemed to be an issue, so was the moon, but they didn't understand why. As Charlotte was leaving the coffee shop she had a run in with the two, Stan and Dylan, who were talking about shooting wolves. They were being typical men calling her sweet cheeks and baby wanting her number, needless to say she got away and ran into the bushes before she turned, and ran in wolf form into the woods, headed for home. Of all the things those guys traveled the same road to get to work, saw the wolf, which was Charlotte and pulled over shooting at it. The wounded her, she hid under some brush, then Kane, the sheriff got the call and made it out there in time to arrest the two idiots. He locked them in his cruiser and searched for Charlotte, finding her wounded he offers to carry her to her house to treat her wounds. She is not happy about that, but has no choice. And that is where I will leave off, trust me it gets better and better. You don't want to miss the end. Give it a read. You will love it.

Another win for me with this book. Good characters and amazing story line. Been waiting to see what would happen next in this series for a while glad to see come out can't wait for the next one. Kane in the beginning got on my nerves because of his "human" moral code but as it process he won me over. And Charlotte won me since the beginning.I don't know something about her just made me like her. *shrugs*

Charlotte and Kane have been going thru a lot of changes since being bitten and turned into werewolves. They are still trying to get used to the changes and control the urges. Charlotte in particular is having quite a struggle and just wants to get enough control to go back to school. She is also still very angry about her fiance abandoning her and leaving her in an isolated area where she was bitten by the werewolf. Kane is the sheriff and is struggling to figure out how to mix his job with being a werewolf. He was known for one night stands and now realizes it might be dangerous to be with human women. Charlotte is not his usual type but that doesn't matter to his wolf.
When Charlotte is threatened, Kane comes to her aid. They then realize all the werewolves are in jeopardy and they have to work together to protect their pact. Along with the serious danger, there is a funny sub-plot about Charlotte pretending to be an awful girlfriend so Kane's mother will get off his case about getting serious and having a family. It was a funny date night.
I liked Charlotte and Kane and wanted them to find some happiness in the changes thrust upon them. Charlotte is still hurting and just looking for peace. Pack protects pack, no matter what. HOLY WOLVES!! What a FURTASTIC story and a GRRRREAT follow up to First Moon! There’s so much packed inside this story making it a very enriched story where you can expect to find the unexpected! There is a lot of humor, friendships, adjustments being made, trust being built, nosy old ladies, family and lots more! But my favorite feature is EVERYTHING WOLF!! I ABSO-FURRY- LUTELY love how Michelle has created these whole new wolves! They have a few similarities to the 'common' wolf shifters out there, but they have so very many different, unique and PAWESOME features. Personally I think that these features are one of the main reasons I love this story - and series - so furry much!! The other main reason is all Michelle and her phenomenal talent!! The stories that she tells have me completely hooked, absorbed into them so that I am actually living the story! Add in FURRIFIC characters and uber hot & sexy men to pant over and I'm all in! Of course the story itself is nothing to sneeze at! I PAWSITIVELY love how everything has a "real life" feel to it. No one is rich, things don't fall into place by magic or any other way and they deal with things the rest of us. Well other than going furry & howling at the moon! Well maybe just the furry part. I ABSO-FURRY- LUTELY love how Michelle has created these whole new wolves! They have a few similarities to the 'common' wolf shifters out there, but they have so very many different, unique and PAWESOME features. Personally I think that these features are one of the main reasons I love this story - and series - so furry much!! The other main reason is all Michelle and her phenomenal talent!! The stories that she tells have me completely hooked, absorbed into them so that I am actually living the story! Add in FURRIFIC characters and uber hot & sexy men to pant over and I'm all in! Of course the story itself is nothing to sneeze at! I PAWSITIVELY love how everything has a "real life" feel to it. No one is rich, things don't fall into place by magic or any other way and they deal with things the rest of us. Well other than going furry & howling at the moon! Well maybe just the furry part. LOL Regardless, I truly LOVE this awesome series of Michelle's and cannot wait for more! In the meantime, I will catch up her other books. After all, Once you've been bitten, you can never go back. Right?

I just dont know what it was about this book in the series but it moved way too slow for me. I kept sighing and rolling my eyes and yes I did have to skip a little. There wasn't enough romance in it to begin with. I didnt actually feel much of a connection with Kane and Charlotte. They dont seem that well matched. Not that the attraction wasn't there because it was a little. She's not even his type which he admits more than once to himself. I can't help but think because his wolf wont leave him alone about her is all this couple has going for them. I mean later in the book he digs her but meh. At least thats the vibe I get. This is NOT a love story. They dont even act on getting together til the end of the book. Charlotte is a very weak character and wishy washy about what she wants. I honestly think the best part of the book was when he took her to meet his parents lol. That was priceless otherwise it didnt hold my attention long. It was painful to finish for me but I did because I did want to know what happened. I think I also had issues with it being a believable story with the cover up part of it. A cover up that seems to VERY unlikely. He's a police sheriff for goodness sake and it totally bothered him all the lying. I get they have to protect themselves but I think it was too much with 3 bodies and his parents knowing about the shootout. Also, what about those 2 idiots families? The whole town isn't werewolf. I've read her work before and liked it. I even liked book 1 but this not so much. Sorry. :(

Poor Charlotte not only gets dumped, but then bit by a wolf... She's not the only new wolf either. Sheriff and total dreamboat Kane Martin was also bit.... They have been taken in by brothers who were born as shifters and are being taught to control the inner wolf. Easier said then done.
However during one of Charlotte's attempts at keeping her wolf inside she fails and decides to make it to the woods before she shifts instead running flat into Sheriff Hotness.... She's humiliated and he's intrigued and wants to repeat the event.... even in his head.
The newly formed pack not only has to deal with all the new wolves that have been created by a wolf that went crazy before being killed, but now they have someone hunting them. However they can't let the rest of the town know about them AND figure out who's hunting them....

The twists and turns are totally unexpected and you will immediately be hooked. The author Michelle Fox writes with amazing descriptions that draw you into the story and she paints the picture of the town that you can close your eyes and see. I loved all the characters and each was crucial and well developed! Although reading First Moon might be helpful with the characters it wasn't needed... I still want to read it though! And anything this author writes!

Standalone, HEA
This is a nice story that I read over two days. It is a standalone HEA and I really enjoyed that.
This is the second book in a series, and you see some of the last couple, but that makes the story better.
We meet Charlotte, who is trying to find a job after being dumped by her boyfriend and being bitten by a werewolf. That same werewolf has bitten others and is turning humans into werewolves just because. During her job search, we end up meeting Kane, another product of a werewolf bite.
Kane is the town sheriff and part of the main group of humans turned wolf. They all have a meeting place, at Tao and Audrey's (couple from the first book) house. It's where they go to feel safe. Tao and his brothers Leo and Kai are wolves that have been disowned by their own packs because their brother, Nick, had been turning humans to wolves.
However, when some humans start talking about killing the wolves that are keeping them awake at night, Charlotte, who hasn't been a wolf long, starts shifting and has to bolt. However, while shifted, a hunter starts shooting at her with silver. When the other wolves arrive they try to contain the hunter, but he escapes. They find that the hunter is there to kill them and its either kill or be killed.
Will all the wolves survive without getting hurt?
Will Charlotte and Kane realize their feelings together?

Another great read from Michelle Fox, this is fast paced and chalked full of excitement, lust, a bit of gore and lots of love. When a pack of "bitten wolves" group together in order to survive, with the help of brothers of the man who turned them all, they encounter the dangers that exist for them, and discover the necessity of joining together, covering for each other. Each of them have hurdles that they will have to leap, but they quickly find that if they lean on each other, and follow the lead of their new alpha, life can be so much easier.
Charlotte, left stranded on a deserted beach by her looser ex, only to find herself turned into a werewolf, that aren't supposed to exist, is having a real hard time adjusting. It doesn't help that her wolf seems to be smitten by the scent of the sheriff, another newly turned wolf.
Kane, the local sheriff and dubbed the "one date only" local hotstuff, is literally run over by Charlotte. His wolf's need to protect her at all costs is definitely something new for him.
Put these two together, and you are setting yourself up for lots of entertainment. It seems, that if there is trouble to be found, they will find it. This is a well written story that will have you on the edge of your seat, either rooting them on, or biting your nails throughout all of the suspense. A definite must read as far as I'm concerned. Well done!

Kane Martin is the sheriff of Glen Vine, Michigan, a tough guy that's damn good at his job. But then Kane finds his world turned upside down when he suddenly finds himself turned into a werewolf. Now he finds himself howling at the moon, trying to adjust to being a werewolf, and dealing with locals going after his new pack. Things seemed so much simpler when he was just having to lock up the bad guys.
And then there's Charlotte. A beautiful, curvy girl who has just had her life thrown into chaos after being dumped and becoming a werewolf herself. Even though she's not Kane's type, he can't seem to keep his distance from her.
The last thing either of them need is to get involved when they're trying to get their lives back on track after the curveballs they've been thrown. But fate has other plans for them.
I really loved Kane and Charlotte, and seeing their relationship develop, and how they dealt with the problems life kept throwing at them. I won't give away any spoilers, so you'll have to read it yourself to see what trouble Kane and Charlotte find themselves having to deal with, and how things work out for them. But if you love a good paranormal romance with no cliffhangers, then I strongly recommend that you read this book!
