Pray, and tell all....

Annie has the making of a great detective. Well the trio are sent on another delivery. This time to Key West and with two older friends of Luther's father and grandfather back in the day; both of which have long been deceased. Luther did not know either of these family members since they had passed before he was born.
It is a very long story of which is key to this trip. The two older guys are very quiet and deceptive about the reasons for the trip except they say they are paying respects to their two deceased friends, but Annie doesn't buy it one bit. Her and Luther have their questions.
They drive from New York down south and it is quite the trip. They enjoy the travel, scenery and the fellowship.
Once they are there things change quickly, there are lots of questions about why they are there, who is involved and what is the truth.
Then things get mysterious, people start dying, Luther is a person of interest and things get ugly. There is a lot of action, missing people, and even more questions as the investigation continues. I don't want to get into detail because it's too hard to explain first off and you would miss out on so much. So I hope you get the book and enjoy the ride.

Good and fun read

I like this series a lot. Each book is a fair price and they are quirky funny reads. If you are familiar with the Stephanie plum series by Janet E. Then you will enjoy these series too...

Have read the complete series and am waiting for the 5th book. I need more Luther and his mama around and, of course, Annie. Great series. Glad there is little or no Di Ponti and "Red". Although Red is a part of it all. Also, this is my first time with this author, whom I assumed was a woman, but will definitely try other books by him. And yes, I know what assume can do! Good light hearted mystery with just enough romance thrown in with great friends with colorful hair and clothes and family. A must read.

I received a copy of this book for my unbiased review. I enjoyed this book. I chuckled many times - which for most people would be laugh out loud. Lots of twists although the ending is a little predictable by the last quarter of the book.

Annie is a former high fashion model who has gone into the "detective" business along with her makeup buddy Luis. Lots of fun as she helps escort 2 old codgers to the Keys and ties to capture her pink-painted cousin.

Love the book!

The writer keeps you entertained with Annie's adventures. Excellent source of entertainment. Plots twist and turn but manage to keep a semblance of order. You will find yourself laughing out loud at some of the machinations Annie goes through. A delightful book to read
