My Thoughts - 5 out of 5 Unicorns - I loved it!!!
***Received a copy of the ebook for an honest review from ARCade

The cover is the same as book one, but the models are turned looking at each other this time.

This is part 2 in the series. Even though I have not seen any mention of it being a serial, you should treat it as a serial making sure to read each part in order. They do end in cliffhangers, so if that isn’t your thing, I highly recommend collecting the parts until it is complete. It really is a fantastic story :)

I definitely love this series and its complex plot and characters. When I start reading, I’m compelled to keep reading until the end. Kate Rudolph is definitely an author I’m going to keep my eyes out for when I see new books.

Luke and Mel’s relationship is complex, and things are constantly happening to keep them both very busy. I can’t wait to see what happens next in their adventure when the next part comes out. I have to not so patiently wait until it does :)

I highly recommend this series to paranormal fans and fanatics especially if you like cat shifters and magic.

Still listened to teh audiobook (in Youtube all three books are merged), and it left me feeling wanting.
Again very short and a little more interesting than the first book. I'd give it 3.4 stars.
We follow Mel one week after the showdown in the last book and her meet up with the Alpha isn't exactly a lover's embrace.
I wish we saw how well they got to know each other, interact and how they resolve their conflicts rather than them shutting each other down especially since they are in their 30s.

Now we're getting somewhere. The Alpha and the Thief if you read the first book would be Mel and Luke. Lukes sister is missing and he was blaming Mel for that. However; in book 2, this one, we discover she has nothing to do with the abduction and learns something important. But in order to help Cassie will her cohorts come to help her solve this mystery and what is going to happen to her and the spark between Luke? Gotta read and then get part 3 because it continues there.

This review is an overall review about the whole series.

As I started the first book, I didn’t know what I was getting into… I mean the covers in this trope are all the same by now… so there is no guessing there if the book is good or bad… So, I dived into this one blind and didn’t regret a thing! This series had a real awesome plot and that made me read the whole series in one go!

• Who was your favorite character, and why?
I liked both main characters the same… She is a strong woman who wants revenge and does everything to get it. He is a sweet alpha who is understanding and a total cinnamon roll hero!

• What was your memorable part of the book, and why?
That they didn’t get it on till the last book… and that made the wait so much sweeter.

• Did the story grip you and keep you turning the pages?
The story is really well written and wonderful to read. I loved how easy I flowed into the story and never had to skip some of the things that where written. I love that about a book!

• Were you satisfied or disappointed with how the story ended?
I read all three books in one go so I don’t know where the first one ended, but I was not disappointed by the ending in book three… I wished I had more to read about and I wished for the series not to end but it was a very good ending.

• Did you like it more or less than other books in the same genre?
I think of all the books I´ve read in this kind of genre this book tops most of them… Would I reread it though… I think I would not read it again so soon but why not in the future…

It is a freaking good book that I wished I could read more of it… I have to check the authors backlist… I think she has more from the good stuff…

Part 2 of a 3 part serial. In this one, Mel and Luke have to work together to help get rid of a hex. Since Mel is a thief that stole from Luke in the first book, their relationship isn’t exactly friendly, but there’s an attraction there. Mel being a thief isn’t very honorable, so that also gets in the way of romance; plus, Mel has walls built up. Entertaining story with some steam! I’m not a fan of serials, but I’m enjoying this one so far. I of course love the shifter aspect, and the addition of the magical aspects were fun. Also, there’s a bit of action and adventure, which was interesting. I liked the banter between Mel and Luke too; some good chemistry there. As with serials, there’s a cliffhanger, so you’ll need to read the whole series for the full story. I listened to this story on Author’s direct with the author narrating. I enjoyed the listening experience; she did a good job! Looking forward to reading the finishing part!

I was so happy to hear an author narrate their own book. I think Kate did a wonderful job and the story was very engaging. This book is in the middle so I was a little lost as to the connections but I got the first book so I should be on track for the third one. Kate always comes up with storylines that keep you interested throughout. Now the narration could be better only in that she only changed inflection with the Alpha and some of the females. Other than that I kept listening and enjoyed the whole product.

The night Mel escaped, Luke's sister was kidnapped. Mel left something behind that she needs and now Luke has it. She must return to the alpha's compound to get her belonging back. While at the compound she realizes that Luke's sister has been hexed and Luke needs her help to get the hex removed. Will Mel be able to help Luke and his sister? I love this book, the characters are great and the story is amazing. There is still a lot going one behind the scenes.

exactly the same as the first...!!!! ends with a cliff hanger which makes you begging for the conclusion of the series!!

I sat with this in one happy reading and lost total track of time and tbh it's the first book in a looooong time that when I realised how much is read I was shocked. I thought I'd only read about 20% but was greeted with a 48% read....yep I got that sucked in!!!

Book two of three. Mel has stolen the emerald from Luke and now he has her reward. So she needs to get that back. However his little sister has gotten tangled with a witch and. It has a hex on her. Mel and Luke team up and try to get the hex removed. The attraction between these two is strong but neither are willing to admit that it could be more. Possible mates? Onward to book three!

This is the second book in the Stealing the Alpha, a shifter paranormal trilogy. The story continues where the first book left off. Luke and Mel's novella is fast-paced and intriguing. The story ends abruptly with a cliffhanger. The author is also the narrator. She did a good job with the narration.

not really sure it was necessary to have three separate short books. The story gets more interesting as they race to cure Luke's sister getting the witch's hex. In doing this, Luke and Mel get closer. You find out a little more about Mel and her team that originally stole from Luke. Though there's still so many questions that need to be answered.

Amazing sequel

As the thief barters for her scyre stone, she takes another job only it's personal. Only not expecting a new partner, Mel gets a few surprises. I am intensely enjoying this high energy saga. The chemistry between Luke and Mel is insane. And I like Bob, he's like a yoda. And Mel's best friend, Krista, is a witch with spunk that keeps ball going.

This is a good beginning to the story of the thief and her mark. What Mel wants, Mel gets, but there's more to the story. The first book makes you want to know what happens next. It's well written and definitely worth the read.

What an adventure!

From Wisconsin to Denver to Mexico City, Mel and Lucas go to whatever lengths necessary to save Lucas’ sister from the effects of a hex. The ending is so dramatic, and leaves you wanting more more more!

A thief, an Alpha, a witch and magic

Oh my gosh! Excitement, violence, vampires, bloodshed, intrigue, fear and slow burn entanglements. Lots of secrets and a cliffhanger. The continuing story of Mel and Luke is a good story but book 3 hopefully is the denouement.

Short like the first part, the whole trilogy only works out about 400 pages. More tension from the duo. This part ended quite abruptly but was as good as the first.

Going against the grain I suppose but this really was not great. If you loved the first book, you’ll like the continuation but if you are hoping for resolution or better…not gonna happen

I relished this story; it was a fantastic exhilarating from start to finish, and I eagerly await the next book in this captivating series. If you dote on shifter stories with romance and spine-chilling suspense this is an excellent choice for your library. {I was given a romance arc for a completely truthful review}. Entangled with the Thief (Stealing the Alpha Book 2) by Kate Rudolph captured my attention from the very beginning. I was not disappointed but wanted to read more. I couldn't resist a story about a hexed lionese shifter and Lucio Torres (alpha lion shifter) in search of a way to reverse a hex done to his sister. What other danger lurks? They need to be strong to face what the future holds.

I loved the book! Be ready for a wild and adventurous story. The steamy scenes, sexual tension, and the chemistry between Lucio Torres (alpha lion shifter) and Mel (thief, leopard shifter) was very hot. They are a very interesting couple to read about. The different characters had depth and were engaging. The story was great and characters' dialogues were very good. The story was well paced and the setting was realistic. I was caught up in the fascinating and truly original storyline. This is a paranormal tale with romance, action, suspense, and drama. The author’s vivid storytelling made it amazing. There was never a dull moment to be had. I was eagerly hanging on trying to find out what would happen next.

I finished the story fast. I just couldn’t put it down. I highly recommend this book. It was exciting and awesome reading Entangled with the Thief (Stealing the Alpha Book 2) by Kate Rudolph. Beware of cliffhanger! The story was different and unique from other books that I have read. I look forward to reading Book 3 from this series. I want to find out how this series ends.

I highly recommend this author. It deserves five stars!
