Four people are together in a hotel on the balcony one night when an intruder declares that he is there to shoot one of them. The unrealistic assassin aside, this is a look at how all four have manipulated events or others and incurred someone's wrath.
Anne honestly thought she had written horses into this book because one tale is set on a stud farm. But we never see a mare and foal.
Anne was a Dublin lady who wrote a few fiction books, puzzle books and a look at gifted people.
