Of the fifty-eight essays presented on different aspects of the Relief Society Declaration, these are the ones that stood out to me: Women of Charity by Sheri Dew; The Lord, His Mouthpiece, and the Holy Ghost by Virginia H. Pearce; Crossing the Finish Line by Stephen D. Nadauld; The Promise of Jesus by Spencer W. Kimball; and Built upon the Rock by Patricia T. Holland.

Every woman who is a member of the Relief Society of the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints should read this book. It gave me a whole new perspective on the meaning of the organization, its purpose and its greatness. After reading this book my love for the Relief Society and its members increased ten-fold, I began to really cherish my own membership in the organization and was inspired to incorporate its mission and purpose into my own personal life.

This was a great church book, it was comprised of samples of talks given about the topics found in the Relief Society Declaration. I liked how you could read the short snippet of the talks included and feel so inspired, it was a great daily read and I was sad when I finished.

Excellent!!! Short essays that cover each section of the Relief Society Declaration. It is a must read for every member of Relief Society. It is one I will use again and again for talks and spiritual renewal. Loved it!
