This is an excellent and important resource.

Anyone who does not have confidence in their resume can benefit from reading this book and following the author’s recommendations. Many examples. Worksheets.

This was a DNF. I stumbled across this because it was currently available through my library, and I thought I might learn some new things. If you’re at the very beginning of your career, this might have helpful tools for you.

Great reference book for job hunters. Whatever industry, educational level or experience you have as an applicant, you will find the most effective way to present your resume with this book. The book is well-organized, very in-depth and contains just about anything you are looking for when you're writing/tweaking your resume - from cover letters, job search, up to how do be found in databases that scan resumes. I was able to tweak my resume while following the guidelines in this book. In a tough job market, you really need some "magic" on your resume to get an interview and this book delivers that.

Not the greatest for health professionals. Would love to see some additional advice on their website for us. Also, would like more information on their website on how to do some of the formatting they show.

Not very helpful for social work/psychology/fields less concerned with money and profits...

Probably the most comprehensive book out there for resume preparation. I junked my previous resumes and templates and began afresh with guidance from this book with excellent results.
