The idea is to tailor your cover letter to make it get you noticed as to how you can help the company. To show them what you can do and what you did in the past to help the company. The concept is good but the examples may not help you write your own winning cover letter.

Similar to Winning Resumes, it is very American-style and it may not apply to some cultures.
