This book was really good. The Law of Attraction was always a very fascinating concept and I had promised myself I'd read more about it this year, this book was my first reading about it. It made me reconsider so many things and be excited for change. I highlighted some parts of the book: "People won’t recognize you by all the “stuff” you have attracted and manifested, but rather by your expression of love, wisdom, and power. Find the secret hidden deep inside your heart. As Rumi, the Sufi mystic might say, someone is calling you; maybe it’s your own soul asking you to open the door." " when you are grateful for having something, you feel good and the thoughts of possession and the positive feelings of possession bring more of the same." “let go, and let God.” " Be aware that you cannot change anyone but yourself, so don’t try to use the law for that purpose. It won’t work because you don’t own their vibration and thoughts. You can change only yourself. Feel joy, gratitude, and peace to raise your vibration to draw that person to you." " which you seek, you already are " " Remember that energy and matter do not die, but can be transformed " " Consider the abudance that already exists in your life " " When the darkness swirls around you, look for the light." " Perhaps what is coming is even better, bigger and more beautiful than your desire " " You must believe that your desire is already en route to you, as if it was already decided and it was simply a matter of waiting until it showed up. You never question how or when; you just keep your faith. "
Simple explanation of this book would be: if you’re like majority of people who have so many wishes, but doesn’t know what to do – then this book will help you to get into mindset of stopping procrastination and start working to get things that you want. Sound simple, and it’s really just a common sense thing, but seems like so many people lack that motivation to start working. I think that’s because of the ‘quick fixes’ that majority of people is looking in life – and there’s no such thing.
You can find 50+ ways that will help you to start creating your goals in life and start working on achieving them. This is simply it, this what’s this book is all about: to help you quit procrastination and to get right mindset in order. I’ve been through this couple of years ago and I already know like 90% what is written in this book, so nothing new here for me. But I can say that there many things that work presented here, and you just have to sit down and clear everything with yourself and decide what do you want to be, what do you want to achieve in life.
I would suggest this book to people who want everything, but they aren’t much motivated to start working on getting what they want. You can take small steps at first and improve through time. The hard part is to start, and it’s not much easier to just give up when you’re failing. This book is not something that will change your live completely and that you’ll wake up next morning to find out that you’re completely different person. No, it doesn’t work that way. If you’re looking for a little bit of motivation and some good direction in life – then this book will help you to get just that.
I was so excited when I initially bought this book. Halfway through it, it had somehow fallen into the white laundry basket someday, which I emptied into the washing machine without noticing [cover of the book is white too] and all my clothes had shredded pieces of this book :(. I bought it again and finished it finally today. It's a quick read but worthy of rereads till this becomes a way of life. According to me, the whole concept of LOA helps you look at life from a positive angle, work for what you want, and keep moving forward. It's not magic. It's just a simple way of life. The author has researched religious scriptures where there are traces of mentions of this concept which might perhaps be the only new thing you might find if you've already researched enough on LOA. Nothing else is new.
A great refresher course! I used to be into this when I watched Super Soul Sunday. Now I don’t have cable. Recently I started working a retail job with a LOA practitioner. She gives me free tips, but I wanted to read for myself.
