Best IoT book so far. Highly recommend for architects - business and technology. The book provides end-to-end perspective complete with business POV, architecture, technology solution and implementation approach. Also included SME interviews that were very helpful in gaining real life perspectives. Plan to revisit this book when I need to go deeper into IoT. Personal highlights are
- M2M vs. IoT
- Designing IoT by merging SW and Engineering
- virtual power plant
- connected car with weekend engine upgrade
- overview on sensors and IoT communication
- smart factory (centrally controlled hand tool, assembly instruction imbedded in the parts..)
- predictive maintenance
