The Grand Design – I: Reflections of a soul/oversoul

Rate this book
Sooner or later questions such as "Who and/or what am I? Where did I come from? How can I find meaning in my life? How can I reduce the pain of self-realisation? What will happen to me when I die?" begin to niggle at each of us. This book provides answers that come from a spirit being named SHEBAKA. The Grand Design books, of which there are five volumes, explore life in all its aspects both in the physical world and in spirit. Inter alia, they explain how we came to inhabit physical bodies and what happens to us when we die; and they provide facts, concepts and suggestions designed to help us, in cooperation with our guides/guardian angels if we so wish, to find ever increasing happiness and fulfillment in our expression.

Enlightening!

I have read this book and it ‘spoke’ to me on a level of ‘knowing’. Revelations and truths revealed plus a lot of introspection as an action from reading this. Gives a real sense of what is life for and pulls together some of the strands of where we come from. I was not expecting the major revelation of the book, I must say! Excellent writing by Paddy/Patrick. Onto the next volumes!

A must read!

A wonderful confirmation and validation of some of the key concepts underpinning the metaphysical “straight from the horse’s mouth” so to speak…Highly recommended!

this book was recommended to me and i mistook it for something else. think there is another book with the same title (or perhaps many others with the same title). firstly, it is the kind of book with very clear writing (which i've always admired and aspire to emulate) - it takes an adept mind to communicate with such immaculate line of logic, especially on a highly profound theme. this book provides a preview to so many dense philosophical works (think Heidegger and Sartre) that i am preparing my mind to read just in slightly over a hundred pages. it discusses about the concept of time, our soul experience here in this physical realm and why, as Leibniz best put it, the need for evil in this world. it is the kind of read, if you delve into it with an open mind, would just give you all the answers to questions you have about life, death and the universe.
