Taking What's Mine
So freaking hot! I already know it's safe for me because if it ends differently, it surely will be a dnf for me.
The story is about Colton and Rose.
He's a sheriff and she's a school teacher.
The story is pure smut. I loved it! And it has a nice epilogue.

Taking What’s Mine - 3*
This book features Sheriff Colton and his obsession Rose.
He’s planned for this, taken photos, read her diary and waited for the last day of school. He pulls her over and puts his plan into action.
It starts off dark but because this is an Alexa Riley book we know we’re also going to get the sweet.
Taking What’s Ours - 3*
I have to admit this book had me worried for a while I just couldn’t see where the sweet was going to come in and this author always gives us sweet.
It starts hard and dark and the rape scene felt like a rape whereas it hadn’t in the previous book.
Hudson and Ridge might be inmates but have planned and waited for six months and now it’s time to put their plan into action. They bribe the guards and get their one hour with the Doctor Charlotte.
This wasn’t my favourite book but I imagine I’ll enjoy it more on the re-read.
Taking What’s Hers - 3.5*
I’ll admit I nearly skipped this one. I like a dominant alpha male and the idea of a young female stalking and then capturing and restraining a man just didn’t sit well.
But then I remembered who’d written this book.
Valentina is young, innocent and bat shit crazy where Archer Ware is concerned. And it was a little uncomfortable at first when she’s in full on stalker mode until I discovered that Archer is just as crazy.
These two make the perfect pair and surprisingly this turned out to be my favourite book so far in this series.

A bundle of naughty, explicit desires signed by the always creative imagination of Alexa Riley. You can't miss it if you know her style. If you don't, have a taste and you won't regret it if your mind deviates towards the obsessive desire of possessive men who don't like barriers of any kind.
A dirty cop with desires that are not only unlawful but sinful, Colton is a sheriff with a dark intent. His little Rose is ready to be taken into a cabin with no help nor mercy. The best thing about this story is the utter devotion to dirty pleasure, but also the final twist that changes the tone of the events. And that epilogue is the right kind of lustful touch that's so typical of the author.
The best plot twist though comes at the end of Taking What's Ours , a tale about two prisoners who'd rather fall on top of their luscious prey than escape their sentence. It's a string of dirty, sexy love fest that includes a pretty smart mystery surrounding the why of the events. This double man-encounter for the heroine is one you won't be able to forget.
I read TAKING WHAT'S HERS a while ago and here is what I thought then:

The names in this novella are quite original: Valentina and Archer. Can I presume a dirty Cupid working its magic somewhere in between?
This author's wicked imagination never ceases to amaze me. She takes the craziest, naughty fantasy ever and turns it into an intoxicating potion of sweet romance and sex on fire. I couldn't believe the lengths to which Valentina goes to get the man of her wet dreams, but you can't grudge a woman for her hormones when they take the reins. And Archer is not exactly suffering when that happens ;-) Tied down by a beauty that loses her mind from him and her control over him?
I was frustrated to see the story end so soon, but I had a crackling good time while this crazy couple was getting her happy ending. If you're in the mood for loony, sexy, dripping hot romance, this treat will beat chocolate any time.

Another great collection of short stories from Alexa Riley. The first novella is Taking What's Mine. Warning this book may contain triggers for some people or completely turn you on. Depends upon your sexual fantasies. A completely different story than what I expected well done Alexa Riley I was very surprised by the ending. Hot alpha sheriff has been stalking a innocent school teacher. He's determined to make her his any way he can and plans the perfect trap to get her. Expect very explicit dark scenes so if these scenarios bother you please don't read. But if your intrigued then this short story is for you.
The Second Novella is Taking What's Ours. Alexa Riley managed to do it again. I need to buy stock in panty liners or new panties because she writes the hottest dirtiest short stories. Warning there are many triggers in the book but it's a Alexa Riley story so all is not as it seems. Just hang it there till the thrilling conclusion. Expect to be presently surprised and turned on while reading this short hot sexy novella. 1-click this book and stock up on batteries before reading. Can't wait to see what crazy hotness Alexa writes next

Mine: I kept telling myself "It's not what you think, it's not what it seems. Alexa Riley doesn't show rape, it isn't what you fear." What a kinky couple. Sheriffs don't blow my skirt up and neither does fighting foreplay. (Unless you're really mad, that is, then it is HAWT.)
Ours: Meh. The sex was hot as long as I kept telling myself AGAIN AND AGAIN: "It's not what you think, it's not what it seems. Alexa Riley doesn't show rape, it isn't what you fear." I dig menage when it's done right, and this was done right. I just could've done with the setting and irrational fear of actual rape.

This anthology contains the first 3 stories from the Forced Submission series. They are all CNC erotic quickies (about 50-70 pages each). So they are all about consensual role play scenes and the aftercare following those CNC scenes.
These first three stories are probably my least favorite from the whole series. They aren't bad, but this is when I was getting used to the format of the series.
They are written so that the reader is already knee deep in the CNC fantasy from the start of the story. So it feels like noncon at first, until near the end of the story we get the twist and the characters come out of the scene.
It's an interesting way to write them to really put you in the fantasy. But it was disorienting for the first few stories. After that I was able to like them more for what they are.
Overall I enjoyed them though and would recommend the series to those who like reading CNC stories.

Enjoyed them a lot!
For Taking What's Mine, at first I didn't want understand the ending and I had to read it twice to make sure I didn't miss anything. Colton was ruthless with Rose, but then knowing it was her fantasy made me speechless, I wasn't expecting this at all but I really enjoyed it.
Hudson and Ridge were also ruthless with Charlotte in Taking What's Ours, and again, the little twist towards the end made the story so much better!
As for Taking What's Hers, both characters were obsessed with each other and they were both stalking the other. What I found a bit disappointing was that Valentina was somehow described as being insane with her obsession with Archer, whereas Archer was just obsessed with Valentina and everything he did was hot somehow.
Will definitely read the second bundle!

Terrible DNF
If I could give zero stars I would. I read the first story and didn't finish it because it kept getting worse and worse. The "hero" uses his position to stalk and film her in her home without her consent. This filth was physical and psychological abuse and it was neither sexy or romantic. I keep expecting better from contemporary romance and then I read this rubbish. Also just because you give a disclaimer that this has dubious consent and scenes that may trigger people doesn't let you off the hook of writing a good and believable fantasy plot line. This is a "No" from me.

I came across this series on Amazon and it was no longer available so I found it on Eden books. I wanted to read it to see what it was about since it was no longer on Amazon to purchase. I almost quit during the first book. It was hard to remember this was fictional. I’m glad I finished it because the first two stories are about a particular fantasy playing out. It’s not for everyone. But Alexa did a good job writing the stories. The last book was just about two crazily, over obsessed people who were perfect for each other. I liked the role reversal in it. If this type of fantasy is your kink, go for it. They are short, heavily intimate reads.

Alexa Riley on Submission
So Alexa Riley stories always have a bit of crazy woven into them but this series and the following series takes the cake. They have the funniest and sexiest minds to write these types of stories. My favorite was Archer and Valentina in Taking What's Hers, I loved that both characters were absolutely insane, most of their antics made me laugh because they were just so crazy.

I didn’t care for the first story, until the twist happened. Then it was a duhh moment, that changed everything. The other 2 books after that, knowing there would be a twist, but not what or how, made them very exciting to read. My favorite is the third book! Very hot!!!
This series was explosively hot and sexy! I enjoyed the characters, and found it refreshing that each book was a solid story and not just some sex crazed hormonal couples. I would recommend this series.

Alexa Riley does it again. This book is very well written and the characters are very well developed this is one book that I know I could read over again. I found it very hard to put down. I look forward to reading more books by Alexa Riley.

Not much to say here... this was vintage AR, at her finest. Plenty dark and gritty, but with the HEA we’ve come to expect. Quick, hot read.

These are all short stories where the characters portray their fantasies. All of them involve some type of kidnapping or rape type situations. All characters are willing participants in said fantasy however you don't find out until the end of each story that they are fantasies.

This book was very filthy and hot. There are 3 short stories and each one is better than the next. I liked how in the end each story both parties were apart of the forced submission, which is why it made it that much filthy and hot.

These stories are totally different then the other stories I have read by Alexa Riley and I kept an open mind and I ended up liking them just like I do the rest of her stories.

So these books made me very uncomfortable reading them but when you get to the very end you realize that they are not what they seem. So that makes it better but still not really my cup of tea.

This is one super hot box set it will seriously light a fire within you. Even though it seems wrong it's o so right... my favourite book was the second one.
