Good beginner's guide to meditation. Covers a variety of techniques and approaches. I have practiced meditation on and off throughout my life (going as far back as my childhood). I am an advocate for the benefits that practicing meditation can yield and would recommend this book to anyone interested.

It is a very easy read and very informative. I need these at work most days. I have 15 minute breaks so I can devote 10 of it to becoming more relaxed.
Meditation is a good form of self relaxation. Ways to try and let some things go. You just have to breathe in and breathe out.
This helps you learn how to calm your mind as well as your body. When you can fully relax the day goes by easier and with less stress.
If you have ever considered try Meditation this is a perfect book for you to start with.

Great beginners guide

I gave this book five stars because it is a great way for a beginner to learn to meditate. I had not practiced meditation in a long time and I definitely had never done it on my own. This book guided me through the meditation so that I felt comfortable doing it by myself. I think anyone who needs to learn to center themselves and quiet their mind would benefit from this book.

I think a beginner might find this book overwhelming. It gives lots of ways to meditate. However, I find it hard just to practice once or two types of meditation.

I am new to meditation. I have skimmed through a few books I thought would simplify things for me. This is the first book I have read on the subject sans fluff and professional jargons. I find it interesting, impressive and very helpful. It is the sort of book I have been looking. I am glad my search has ended.

Very interesting

I have to give this book a high rating because it held my attention. Honestly I found it captivating. I have always been fascinated by meditation but have never been able to full master the art of it. This book is great for anyone who is serious about wanting to learn to meditate for the long term benefits of it. There are so many different 10 minute exercises in the book as well as many others. There are exercises geared toward certain situations that you may deal with. Obviously meditation is an art form to be practiced and mastered and this book is a great tool to teach us how to do that. Very easy to read and understand. Highly recommend.

Did you know meditation is good for your mind, soul, and health? This is a great book for someone that is just getting started with meditation.

Meditation does not have to be hard or very time consuming. It’s all about taking time out of your busy day to concentrate on you. There are many 10 minute exercises.

No matter who you are, what kind of life you lead; we can all benefit from the practice of meditation. It’s a great way to reduce stress and anxiety without medication.

This was a quick read and great to have on hand when you need to just relax and close off your mind for a few minutes.

Very good read

If you're a beginner at the art of meditation, this is the perfect book for you. It gives good techniques to use at home. Taking a few minutes a day to relax is beneficial to me especially as I have a lot on my plate. I homeschool, I work from.home and I care.for.my grandma. I tend to focus on the spiritual aspect of my life and this book was a good compliment to that.
