I have waited for so long to get my hands on Lucas Blackmoore!!!!! I am in love with the this stinking family! Ms. Grey has made a great Para Series, and I can't wait for the next book!
We left off with explosion at the Blackmoore Estate, and Lucas had lost Beth which completely sucked cause I was looking forward to their banter... Now Lucas is lost in depression and doesn't know how to get out of it. His sorrow is heartbreaking. All the while we have some new villians in town, and a new Were that is trying to figure out who she is and how she became a Were. I can't really get into the story cause there is so much to it. I would hate to give you guys spoilers cause there is just so much going on in this book.
The one thing I do know is that I love this series, and it keeps getting better and better. The stories get deeper, and the way things intertwine together is amazing. You are going to fall in love with Lucas and Evie. And I'm not going to lie, and hope that we get Zeke's story too. Especially after reading this book.

REVIEW: 3.5 stars---MERELY IMMORTAL is the third installment in T.A. Grey’s adult, contemporary THE UNTOUCHABLES erotic, paranormal romance series. This is vampire/rock star Lucas Blackmoore, and Evie’s storyline. MERELY IMMORTAL can be read as a stand alone although for backstory and cohesion I recommend reading the series in order as each consecutive installment builds upon the events of the previous storyline.
Told from several third person perspectives, following three intersecting premises MERELY IMMORTAL begins immediately after the events of TAKE ME (Untouchables #2) and the aftermath of the explosion and fire that killed Lucas Blackmoore’s girlfriend Beth. Beth was a human female, and the woman Lucas believed to be his ‘bruid’-his fated mate. But the relationship between Lucas and Beth came to a grinding halt when Beth caught Lucas in a compromising position, and her death began to push Lucas over the edge. When a mysterious female finds her way into Lucas’s life, Lucas begins to have visions of deja-vu about the woman who calls herself Evie- a woman who has no memory of her previous life; who is not quite vampire, not quite werewolf, and definitely no longer human. What ensues is the search for Evie’s past and her ‘maker’; and the mysterious woman known as ‘O’ who aided Evie when no one else would; and the use of dark magic in the world of the supernatural.
The relationship between Evie and Lucas is quick to build as there is a familiarity between our leading couple. Lucas is drawn to Evie but he is concerned that his awareness of Evie is due in part to the loss of Beth and his ongoing grief. The $ex scenes are intimate, provocative and intense. There is a definite pattern in the romance department throughout the series as it pertains to the quick turnover time between grief and finding a new love.
All of the previous storyline characters including Dom and Felicity, Gray and Ara, Vas, Diane, Julianna, crazed Alpha Were Zeke, and mercenary for hire Were Kane Gunner play secondary and supporting roles throughout the story. We are introduced to investigative reporter Tabitha, who may or may not have caught the eye of Kane Gunner.
The world building continues to focus on the Blackmoore family; the vampire/ were relationships; Arabelle’s continuing search for Zeke Hunter’s missing mate. There is also the potential for Vas to find his ‘bruid’ in an all too familiar female whose presence is unwelcome in the Blackmoore Estates.
MERELY IMMORTAL and the Untouchables Series are enchanting and imaginative. The premise is action packed and suspenseful; the characters are determined, charismatic and sensational; the romance comes with a bit of a twist but a twist that was easily detected from the very start. MERELY IMMORTAL is not as graphically violent as TEMPTING GRAY #2 which in and of itself is a bit of a relief-sometimes the violence can be overwhelming and take over the entire emotional feel of a storyline.
There are still a number of issues with spelling and grammar that need to be addressed and corrected. As mentioned in my previous reviews, another round of proof reading and thorough edits is advisable. Although the errors did not affect my enjoyment of the storyline(s), the problems are noticeable and distracting.
Luchas and Beth's story was good, however, Luchas could have avoided all of the heartache and drama if he would have just turned Beth into of a vampire instead of running from his feelings because she was a human.
In book one, Take Me, the author stated that there were born vampires and created. So, why not turn someone who is your mate? Jericho had the strenght to turn Beth into of a Were or Hybrid, so why not Luchas?
The Olivia and Lesther situation made me uncomfortable and got on my nerves after awhile.
And there was a statement in book towards the end when Olivia and Zeke finally come face to face. Her comment about his "accent" was condescending and offensive: "Ezechial spun around, transforming his face back into that of a man so he could speak. His voice was still guttural and so unlike she remembered. Her brain remembered him sounding so Sophisticated and Gentlemanly. Here he sounded like a southern creole." _ Chapter 23
Um, so, southern creole men can not sound like gentlemen? WTF?!? That was an insult to southern creole people, intentionally or not.
Also, the question of how Beth started off at the Blackmoore’s estate and ended up 12 miles away was never answered.
I have enjoyed this series but I feel there is a lot of continuity missing. In one book the story read as if all the brothers had different mothers. Then another time it appeared two brothers had he same mother. Which is it? I've also seen spelling errors and parts where characters were introduced in one chapter and then not know the persons name in another chapter
That said I would have given the book a 4 I wasn't annoyed by the editing. The storyline kept my attention and I enjoyed the characters.
I gave this book four stars because the story is great and written very well. it would have been five stars if not for the inconsistencies from one book to the next. in a series when you have characters that appear through out each others books its important to keep the consistency from one book to the next. This book is about Lucas and Beth. When Lucas was introduced in the first book TAKE ME. he was said to be Diane's(the matriarch of the Blackmoore family) youngest son and the youngest of the four boys with Grayson and Vas both having different mothers than Dominic and Lucas who were both said to be Diane's sons. Now with his own book Diane is not Lucas' mother but Step-mother and that may not be a big deal to some but it bothers me when I know I read one thing and then it changes from book to book its always the little things that I notice like that. and I believe it changes the dynamic of the family from one book to the next. there were also some character misplacement parts where I knew we were talking about evie but it read Tabitha instead. that caused some confusion and I had to go back and make sure I was reading and following the story correctly. But like I said all and all I thought it was a good story but those inconsistencies bothered me enough not to give it five stars.
This book was amazing! I was so ready to be angry about Beth's death and Lucas's downward spiral and dislike any new female. So petty, I know. However, the book delivered some twist and turns that had me on the edge of my seat trying to see how this was all going to work out. There was a nice mix of old and new characters to build on the world outside of Lucas and Beth. The only problem was that sometimes the transitions from scene to scene or different characters wasn't always clear. It doesn't hurt the overall story, but it has a slight effect on the story's continuity. I really enjoyed this series so far and love all of the Blackmoore brothers. Now on to book 4!
The surprises just keep coming in this intriguing tale of romance, deception, and cunning treachery. Lucas and Beth might have ended their relationship on a dismal heart-wrenching note, however, fate was not done with them. I enjoyed following Evie's gradual discovery of her past and watching how that information changed her as a person. That journey was not hers alone. The tragedy also altered Lucas's perspective on what he valued in his life. This story was fast-paced with serious conflicts and bombshell revelations around every corner. As always the attraction between Lucas and Beth (Evie) was off of the charts with sizzling scenes that left you fanning yourself. I loved it!!!!!
A completely predictable, insipid read I struggled to get through. Not a BAD book (my expectations for romance/erotica is low) but not a good one either.
It's meh.
If your into dark handsome rock and roll vampires (yawn) and human...no werewolf....no something else totally...no....nevermind.
Lucas is the brother with addiction issues. He found his mate in Beth ... a human ... who was blown up during Gray's book ... but was she???
There's a new baddie in town ... who is creating hybrids. Evie shows up with no memory of who she was before. Just bits and pieces are coming through. Lucas swears to protect her ... as the same feelings he had for Beth ... he feels for Evie.
What would you do if you woke up and not only didn't remember who you were but were somehow a whole new species. The hero lost his mate and the heroine speaks to him through his guilt. The ending brings suprises.

No follow through...The devil's in the details and let's just say the devil never showed. The story is interesting enough and expected to follow in the footsteps of its predecessors. However, anytime the plot is remotely interesting, the details are glossed over and the battle is won. Beth's dead then alive but we get no real details. The visit to the Oracle is supposed to be important and suspenseful yet falls flat with her unmemorable and anticlimactic presence. Lesther is making plans to unleash holy evil one minute and the next he's vanished and we're on to a happy ending for almost everyone. What just happened? A switch was flipped and Lucas and Beth are on their way to their honeymoon; Kane and Tabitha are a couple(?) and Zeke found what he was looking for...All with no details! Though this series is a vamp tale, Beth is a hybrid so, On my Were Scale of Hotness, 2 stars.
I like this series and enjoyed this next installment about Lucas Blackmore. the parts I liked were that Beth /Evie and Lucas had a past that caused angst in the current time. Lucas hadn't behaved well plus Beth was thought to be dead at the end of the last book. This book had other characters whose stories were integrated as well. While I enjoyed reading about them, I did feel that their stories distracted me a little bit from the main storyline. The ending also seemed a little rushed with Beth disappearing(without giving spoilers)- this was built up throughout the whole story so I would have expected a little more with this section. I'm looking forward to the next installment and Val's story.
Lucas Blackmoore is devastated after losing Beth, the one person that he felt the most connection to. He is trying to move on until he meets Evie. She's alone and has no memory of where she came from or who she is. She only remembers waking up in a forest and getting sick at the sight of the full moon. She knows she was attacked and bitten by something but doesn't know who bit her or what they were. At the same time all of this is happening, Evie is found in the forest by a sweet lady who takes care of her and sends her on her way. Who is this lady and why is she imprisoned in a cabin deep in the woods?
Another great read in this series. I can't wait until Untouchable 4 comes out in August.
First let me start by stating that I truly like the premise of this book and series. The reason for the low rating is the enormous amount of grammatical errors found here. If you have a proof reader Ms. Gray you need to fire them and find a new one ASAP! The amount of errors wiped out any enjoyment I found in reading this book. It was truly a chore just to finish it. For the cost of the book I wouldn't have expected some many misspellings and misused words. There are even errors in the "sneak peek" to Vas' book! Please, please, please have a professional proof read and edit this! Until then dear readers, save your money. It's not worth the headache.
The Blackmoore's are back! This is the story of Lucas the rock star of the family and his lost love Beth. When Lucas sees Evie for the first time he follows her thinking and feeling in his heart that it is Beth, his dead love. But Evie is not her and has no memory of who, what or where she is/came from. Will she find out the answers to her questions? Will she and Lucas go with their feelings for each other? These questions will be answered who you read the book. This is a Hoy, sexy, suspenseful story that will keep you up all night to finish.
Love, love, love this latest in this series. This series just keeps getting better and better with each brothers story. Won't give out spoilers but this was a great HEA.Between Luas and Beth cannot wait for Vals story I know it will be just a great with wonderful back stories like Kane and Tabby.mimi
What a rollercoaster or adventure, intrigue, and true love <3 I couldn't put this down until I'd finished, and added to the end a lovely little excerpt from her next book.... Boom! Mind officially blown! I counted down the days til this book came out now I have another one to look forward too. T.a has truly outdone herself.
Excellent!! Nice twists and turns to the story. I couldn't put it down. Cannot wait for the next book to see what happens with Vas and Julianne, maybe see if Kane and Tabitha get together.
I liked this story. Enjoyed all the reasons for it. But, the spelling errors were horrible. It made reading tough, but I trudged on because I love your stories.
