Great Love Story 4.5 Stars
Megan Cross is the CEO of Diamond Software. During the day, Megan’s mind is consumed with issues stemming from the corrupt corporate world that revolves around her.
At night, in her dreams, the love of her life returns to her. Sal’s kisses melt her. Just being with him again fills her heart with happiness. When morning comes, reality sets in reminding her he’s still gone.
Ten years ago they were to be married, and then he vanishes without a trace. There’s a saying; “time heals all wounds”, though in Megan’s case that’s not completely true.
Over the years she has tried loving others but no one compares to her Sal; that is, until she meets Riley Carson. Riley is a broker trying to help her solve her financial woes within her company. They become close and soon he asks her to marry him. As she contemplates her future, her past returns.
Author Alana Hart knows how to pen a fantastic love story. I think I’m going to have to take an extra blood pressure pill to calm myself!

This story was really weird, I definitely enjoyed the financial banter because is right up my alley, aside from that I could care less about the personal relationship of any of the characters except when it mixed with the intentions to change what was being dealt in one of the party's favor.

I admired Meagan's character, she is a woman that knows herself, is strong and ambitious, but she's not so good professionally, which is proven as she involves personally with people who she's making business with. On the other hand, she didn't seem very thrilled about their relations, aside from the physical satisfaction it gave but still kept the person at a distance. I was just glad this didn't have any unnecessary drama and all was handled quite amicably, because it was pretty clear where everything was leading to.

Sincerely, for being a second chance love story, that doesn't even happens throughout the book, it's just stated as the beginning of a new chance to give to an old love. There's no debate, nor discussion and everything ends way too nicely.

Overall, even if I enjoyed the financial aspect of the story, the plot felt flat and boring, especially if you are not interested in the theme. This aspect is the reason I gave it 2 stars.

I received this book from the author in return for an honest review. This is a true love story. Megan had had one true love, Sal, who had just disappeared years ago. The book starts out with Megan years later needing investors for her business, or it is going to go under. Enter Riley, a sexy broker, who is helping Megan in bed and out. If I had reviewed this book in the middle of the book, I would have given it a four because I thought it was getting too bogged down in the problems of the business, but that is why we read the whole book. Actually, all of this about the business is setting you up for an awesome ending. There is really hot sex well blended into a great storyline. If this is the type of book you like, I highly recommend for you to read this one.
