It’s only an ok read at best. This is more of a one handed read than two stories. I like the characters, but Ms. Kyle really doesn’t do anything other than have them have sex. There’s an attempt to build a ‘verse, but it’s bare bones (no pun intended). The potential is there, which is why I keep coming back, but this isn’t the strongest start to a series.

Two captivating and energetic paranormal romances where sexy vampire knights protect humans and break all the rules to rescue damsels in distress. I was completely caught up in both of these stories right from the beginning as Celia Kyle has created a fascinating vampire world with some refreshingly different elements, an intriguing spin on a certain mythological king, and high-spirited characters that adds light-hearted fun with unexpected revelations and some evil characters with nefarious intentions targeting the Knight Protectors adding lots of suspense and I can’t wait to find out what happens next.

Celia Kyle has dazzled her readers yet again with another spectacular fun-filled new series, The Knight Protectors. The Volume One compilation includes Nibbled by the Vamp and Big Bad Vamp, the first two books of the series. In this remarkable modern day parody of King Arthur's Knights of the Round Table, the knights are actually vampires protecting the city of Atlanta from evil supernatural forces including pixies and dark demi-gods. Yep, I said pixies. And they are not so cutesy and definitely not nice. Each individual story is a well written short standalone novella featuring a different vamp protector and his "fire" with its very own happy for now ending. Each story is filled to the brim with danger, drama, action, adventure, suspense, humor and romance. And did I mention dreamy sex? Oh yeah, totally has that as well! Does anyone remember the Carly Simon golden oldie, Nobody does It Better? You know, the one that was a theme song for one of the James Bond movies? Well, as I was reading this book, that song kept replaying in my mind because believe me when I say, nobody does it better than Celia Kyle! These stories are fast-paced, easy to follow, outrageously funny, exceptionally well written, well edited and include a fabulous cast of hilariously engaging characters. The men are handsome, strong, protective alpha males or should I say vamps, and their women are big, bold, brave and beautiful with a generous side of sass and snark. These stories have it all! I love it! Fabulous entertainment and a rollicking good time for all! Rock on Celia Kyle! We want more!

Yeah...I read these a long time ago and purchased. However, she's doing more books in the series FINALLY! No that's not subtle! LOL. Anyway, box set came at a great deal and I snagged it.
Knight Protectors is a different kind of vampire story. We have Nibbled By The Vamp which stars Wren and Griffin. Wren is all kinds of hilarious and very fiery and feisty! She gets into a bit of trouble at night when she heard screams and being her she couldn't not try and help but alas it was a trap by some vicious pixies! Yeah not so nice kind with teeth and poisonous venom! Griffin saves her and after healing her he JUST cant help but want her and has her he does but later after the help of some fellow Knighters she's his "fire" which is like soul mate. So, this is a crazy tale of their rocky but oh so sexy and funny lovedom!
Then we have Big Bad Vamp which has Wren's roommate Tory and Griffin's fellow Knighter Liam who is such a manwhore and flirt! Tory cracks me up because she is kinda paranoid but in a good way. She's got all these escape plans like 52 1/2 I think? She's got purple hair and is kinda different than what Liam normally goes for. He knows she's his fire but considering she isn't all the "experienced" in the ways of sex he goes slow. Which hey she is sorta freaked still cause she is more or less a vampire but cant make the conversion because she's his fire and he changed her to save her or she'd die. Lots of cool things happen and I don't wanna spoil everything but you'll love this tale. :)

Ms. Kyle is creating a non-standard vampire world not too far off of typical vampires to create backlash (can we say sparkles), but enough to make the myth her own with this series.
Unlike many of her series, the females so far have all been unique in the Knight Protector series with unique reactions (books 1-3). The storyline is also more complicated in this series. You can see Ms. Kyle's growth as a writer between this series (2015-2016) and her earlier products. I am looking forward to her creating unique males along with her unique females; while the men have to be Alpha, they do not need to be clones - for example Brom - I would like to see more of him (I am scared he is going to end up being a bad guy upset that everyone has been ignoring and downplaying his brains for centuries - nerd extreme edition ... and I will only accept him going bad if he can become good by his fire pulling him back from his anger - but this is all speculation since Brom has been been missing during books 2 & 3 because he is overseas.)
The other thing Ms. Kyle needs to work on is getting a slightly longer format. 60-100 pages just isn't enough for her to write a good series. Every ending feels cut off - less so now than in the past, but still unacceptably abrupt on the endings. A challenge to write "the end" and have the reader really feel like it is "the end" of this story and still gasp and scramble for the next of the series. I think if she moves to 120 to 150 pages Ms. Kyle should be okay.

"This is an Amazing book!"
The story line is exciting,funny, suspenseful and down right scorching hot!. The characters are amazing!.
#1-Wren is a plus size curvy,spunky young woman. While walking to work one day she is attacked by pixies and not the tinker bell version either!. No these little buggers have sharp teeth and bite plus their bite is poisonous. Wren is in luck when she is rescued by Griffin a sexy Vampire of the Knight Protectors. Oh and you get the sexy Vampire bite in this series!.
#2-Tory is Wrens best friend. This gal will crack you up!. She is Feisty and has one heck of a mouth on her lol. Tory is a major hacker so to get back at the Pixies for attacking her friend she puts her talent to use against the Pixie king. Liam another protector is sent to collect Tory and bring her to Wren. But before he can get her she is attacked by the Pixie King. To save her Liam will have to go against the rules but he feels he can not let her die!. Plus they find out they have more then one evil to battle.
You will truly love this suspenseful, funny, intense, and super scorching hot Romance! This is a 5-star plus must read book!.

Celia Kyle writes books that make you feel like all of your girlfriends just stopped by with margaritas and girl talk. She writes characters that are so regular girl next door, like the Starbucks barista to dive bar waitress kind. Her plot would make a kick ass movie, tons better than the stuff that's out there now. Wren"s story began the series and it started with a near death experience and wicked vampire sex. The theme, the bad guy follows the story in Tory's story. She's the genius best friend, conspiracy theorist with the attention span of a gnat and the mouth any Marine would be proud to own up to. I laughed out loud so many times while reading these two stories, but did I mention the hot vampire loving? I probably should have because....wow, fire. Interesting
This was my first time reading a vampire book from Ms. Kyle's perspective. I am so glad that she took it to a different storyline than I am used to when it come to vampire romance.
I enjoyed learning about the vampires soul mate being called a fire. Both the female leads were very spunky, intelligent, no holds barred BBW. In this story pixies are the villains stalking and killing human prey. A group called "The Knight's Protector's", are vampires that protects humans from these pixies. This is how both Wren and Tory came to meet both Griffin and Liam. This story was both sexy and funny, but I gave out a four star rating because it left me at a cliffhanger ending.

Totally freaking awesome sauce
This book has so many qualities that have me so hooked and waiting for Poking the vamp! But I'm getting ahead of myself. But really who doesn't love immortal protectors, that a panty melting sexy and a bite every now and then totally acceptable from said love. The woman are strong and passionate. Brought into a world so old King Arthur was involved. Especially when it's a forevermore love complete with loyalty, love and hot hot hot sex. I could not put this down,with the plot consistently bring a new twist and the characters so easily relatable, I recommend.

Interesting concept. Glad the first 2 books were packaged together, as I might not have continued with the series if I had only read Book 1 since the heroine was a bit of an airhead at times. With the second book you get more understanding of the bigger picture and the behind the scenes mysteries that are building and the heroines get more interesting with each book.
Started Book 3 with new scenes being offered weekly and the depth and breadth of the relationship connections is deepened...really looking forward to more.

Knight Protectors Series is absolutely a fun read and can't wait for the next addition to this series as it continues to bring laughter,dangerous dramatic scenes that challenges all of the cast of characters and very very good smexy scorching interactions between the two main characters. You're going to love this series as I have!!!

Normally I'm a fan of Celia Kyle but this series doesn't capture me like the others did. The two stories are linked and the overall plot had great potential but it didn't seem to come together. There is hardly any background to the characters and everything is presented at face value which is a shame. I would still like to know what happens though.

Vampire knights but not your holier than thou knights.
Love these tales of the knight protectors. The heroines are very different from each other and remain buffs. I can't wait for the next story in this series.

Great storyline keeps you entertained.
Liam and Victoria fight their attraction while battling the bad guys. Well written and engaging. Highly recommended and I am on to Poking The Vamp. Can't wait to read it.

An amusing read
While the story wasn't deep it was funny and fast. The characters were lovable and the language creative. The story line was good and I would def read the next book in the Sega. Love the female characters and the way they think .

This was so much fun. First we read about Wren and Griffin. These two are so cute. Honestly we don't know anything about the "fire." That comes a bit later. But Griff deciding to save Wren started the search. With the Pixie, really evil things, attacking, the Vamps have got to figure out what is going on. The Vamps are to thrilled with Wren since she is human but they learn to love her. She is bossy and headstrong. And at times keeps the Vamps in their place.
In the second book, we have Tory and Liam. These two crack me up. With Tory being a smart mouth and having all these crazy ideas. Its no wonder that Wren and she are "besties." Liam is sent to find Tory and bring her in. When he does more "Pixies" are out. This time we meet up with the big evil . We first met Hyde in the first book. Hyde this time, has help. But our Vamp is not going to have any of it. And saves the damsel. But at a higher price. Now that Liam has found is "fire." Tory is being sassier. These two are so silly. With Tory being book and tech junky, and Liam not. They are so much fun.

In the second book, we have Tory and Liam. These two crack me up. With Tory being a smart mouth and having all these crazy ideas. Its no wonder that Wren and she are "besties." Liam is sent to find Tory and bring her in. When he does more "Pixies" are out. This time we meet up with the big evil . We first met Hyde in the first book. Hyde this time, has help. But our Vamp is not going to have any of it. And saves the damsel. But at a higher price. Now that Liam has found is "fire." Tory is being sassier. These two are so silly. With Tory being book and tech junky, and Liam not. They are so much fun.
