Black President: The World Will Never Be The Same

Rate this book
The world will never be the same! Get ready for something NEW, BOLD, SEXY and HIGHLY ADDICTIVE! Brenda Hampton Entertainment will be bringing you a novel series, made for television. In each fiery episode of Black President, Stephen C. Jefferson, and the First Lady are prepared to pull you right into the mix. This is a new era, and things in the U.S. are not what they used to be. The man who now holds the keys to the Oval Office was born and raised in the rough streets of St. Louis, where he discovered how to silence his enemies with knowledge and power. Now, his enemies come in the form of a do-nothing Congress, an untrustworthy administration, and a wife with many issues. But the harm they intend to do to Mr. President will be no more than what he may inflict on himself. His brash words, no-nonsense attitude, and sexiest-man-alive status are going to heat up things on Capitol Hill, and mayhem will erupt like you’ve never seen it done before.

Enlightening!
Loved the characters & the storyline as I read about Pres Stephen & FL Raynetta Jefferson. I found this story to be well written and entertaining. I liked that although he is a charmer, Stephen did not bite his tongue on any issues. Raynetta also came with a bit of slickness as she knows Stephen quite well. I do feel that Teresa, sometimes, is in the way. Then there are his enemies that make the story complete, as they plot around the clock. Enjoyable read & I look forward to reading the next part of this series.

Stephen C. Jefferson is the second Black president of the United States, and people aren't happy about it. But make no mistake, he's no Barack Obama. He is just as tall and handsome with a nice body like President Obama's, but he certainly had a different temperament. He says exactly what he wants and how he feels. This Black president is something like we've never seen before, and I love it! Read: October 2015

Scandalous...

Move over Shonda Rhimes...Brenda Hampton has brought her A-game with this presidential drama. President Fitz, Olivia Pope, and First Lady Mellie have nothing on President Stephen Jefferson and First Lady, Raynetta. My mouth dropped open several times as I was reading. President Jefferson is the next Black President, and unlike President Obama- who tends to be a little politically correct at times- President Jefferson bites his tongue for nobody...not the public, his wife, or even his meddling mother. First Lady Jefferson is an in-your-face wife, who is very well aware of the extramarital affairs that her hubby engages in, but it sounds like she has a few secrets of her own. I can't wait to read part 2 so I can find out.

Really a great take on the realness of politics and a president who is Black. The disrespect, scandal and what people really think of each other behind closed doors. The President and the first lady have some stuff going on with them personally, but who doesn't? I enjoyed this immensely and I'm on to Episode two! Great job as always Brenda Hampton! You did an outstanding job giving us a fictional, yet real take
on the political arena, and just how vicious people can be. Along with the hot, intimate scenes you incorporated....Wow!

I must give this book a 5 stars for all the drama...wife, mama, side pieces, republicans, haters, oh wow and the drama goes on. The president feels confident in the things that he do but certain actions may cause him to fall. That is just my opinion as I read all I would love to see where this author takes me. I enjoyed part 1 so part 2 here I come. :-)
