In part one of The Billionaire and I, Rachel Laraby returns as a client of Whitmore and Creighton. In part two Jacob Whitmore becomes the newest client after Rachel goes on live television and tells the world that Jacob tried to make her his "sex slave". Talk about shock factor!!
I've never liked Rachel. I doubt any of us have. She has been a constant thorn in Jacob and Leila's side. That girl makes me want to shake my kindle. She's definitely gone above and beyond this time, no surprise there. Jacob's legacy is on the line here.
I was actually quite happy to see the subject of Jacob's "lifestyle" broached like this. Only because I knew Rachel was a snake and sooner or later she would pull out all the stops and bring it up. I want Jacob and Leila to put this witch in her place once and for all.
The Billionaire and I part two was great. Full of crazy Rachel antics and intense love and passion between Leila and her billionaire.
Ava Claire doesn't disappoint.
This book is part two of three.

I received this book as an ARC for an honest review. This book is not a stand alone but part of a series you must read part one for this book to make sense.
In this book we see what Leila will do for Jacob. When Rachel goes on TV claiming that he relationship didn't work with Jacob because he wanted her to be his sex slave. Leila first has a slight melt down then tells Jacob what she saw. In turn Jacob gives Leila the abridged version of how he was first with Rachel. After hearing the story Leila knows what she has to do take on a new client Jacob Whitmore. As Jacob watch his beautiful wife put her plans into action he knows that they are 1)going to be just fine as a couple & 2)the perfect woman he could have professionally hired.
This book is another short piece to this overall series but in this book you really see Jacob and Leila fighting together as a couple against an opposing force. This book has a few surprises in it that as a reviewer I really want to tell you but as a reader can't wait for you to find out on your own. This book will have you jumping one minute for this couple and going I need the next part in the other. This is an amazing read I would recommend it.

The Billionaire & I series picks up where The Dom Diaries left off. To call them books is really pushing it, I mean WTF they are each like 35 pages. If it wasn't for the fact that I love Jacob & Leila Whitmore then I wouldn't even bother paying for these so called books. What is it with authors these days charging $2.99 for a "book" that is 35 pages, Ava Claire is turning into another Kelly Favor. Sorry for the rant, now back to the story: Just when Jacob & Leila are getting back to normal the evil bitch Rachel Laraby returns to NYC. Leila has a meeting with Rachel to discuss repairing her image & when Leila doesn't kiss her ass she storms out of the meeting. Later that night Leila gets a call from her assistant telling her to watch the E channel. Leila is shocked to see Rachel on TV saying Jacob was the love of her life but she had to break up with him because he wanted her to be his sex slave. Shortly after the show airs Leila is working out at the gym when she faints & is taken to the hospital. When she wakes up she is surrounded by Jacob, Megan & her over bearing Mother. When they are alone Jacob tells her news that will change their lives forever.

I received this as a gift for an honest review.
Rachel Laraby has just dropped a bombshell about Jacob Whitmore and Leila is devastated. Her heart is breaking for him and she has no idea how to fix it. When Jacob learns of it, he wraps Leila in his arms and tells he a story about his college days and why he chose the path he has. And then in true Jacob form, he takes control. A late night meeting with Leila’s team is in order and Leila takes control of it. To say that the team is shocked is a minor understatement…but she also shocks Jacob with her statement and her next step. Her meeting with Rachel does not go as planned though and while working in the gym with Megan, Leila collapses. When she wakes up , she finds she has been out most of the night and the Doctors are trying to determine the cause. But Jacob’s next statement about her health and what they have already found comes as a shock.

Jacob explains what drove him to be a dominant and how Rachel fit into the picture. Once he tells his story, Leila knows Jacob is her newest client in need of a good PR team! Leila goes to work and lays out the strategy for handling the current mess.
I loved how open and real Jacob was in this installment! I love him even more for it! Leila is definitely one tough cookie! She takes more than one for the team and Jacob is just that much more in love with his beautiful, fascinating wife! Looking forward to the next installment! It's going to be a doozy!!

This part was a lot better than the last...even though Rachel needs to just go away. The ending of this book....CAN I GET AN AMEN!!!! It's about time!!! I have been waiting for this for forever. Although I have a feeling this may put a chink into Rachel's plans for using Jacob and Leila as a battering ram to better her own image.
I'm looking forward to reading the next part and seeing who this ends...I still hope that as a fan of Jacob and Leila that this series will be their finale because as much as I do love them...the more drama thrown toward them is making me want to read the stories less and less.

I was given this book for my honest review.
I don't know how Ava does it with Jacob and Leila. Every time I open one of her reads I get swept away in a flourish of emotions when reading. The sex between them is wow wow and more wow.
Jacob and Leila are two strong dominant people in there own way but in the bedroom it is Jacob that truly is the dominant and that is so awesome but when out of the bedroom Leila is a force to be reckoned with in her own right.
Can't wait to find out what happens next.

I absolutely love this book and the series so far. I am really drawn to the story now. I can really see now how much Jacob loves Leila. He explains to her how and when he realize what he needed in the bedroom but when he met her he knew if was so much more. They are so right for each other. The sex scenes are just wild and hot. Jacob wants what he wants; when he wants. Love the little surprise at the end. It's really about to get interesting.

Oh my, the drama never stops for Leila and Jacob. Rachel is once again pushing all the right buttons to make herself more famous and to destroy Leila and Jacob. Leila shows incredible strength as she tackles this latest challenge head on which is a huge turn on for Jacob. As they continue to work to deal with Rachel, a new surprise arises for them. A fabulous way to end this installment that will lead to even more happiness for them both.

Oooooommmggggggg........... I'm so happy!!!!!!!!!! Wow...let me backtrack....someone needs to kick rachels ass and Leila really needs to stop being kind to this bitch! I'm truly pissed! I just love Jacob and Layla. Rachel o the other hand is a witch from hell. If she can't have Jacob let's just ruin him. I felt like Layla and Megan someone needs to cut that witch. The ending made me cry. It was a good cry. They've been thru so much they deserve something good to happen to them. I love this series and can't wait for the next one.
