Elizabet "Liz" Sullivan is a top-notch journalist who became famous by breaking a huge murder case and sending the culprit to prison 18 years ago. Over the years her fame has declined and she is now considered by many to be washed up as she fights to stay in the lime light. One day she gets a letter asking her to visit the prison where an inmate has a juicy story he offers to share with her, a story that is guaranteed to vault her out of obscurity and into the public spotlight once more. The only problem is that there is a hefty price that comes along with that story. Now Liz has only one question to ask herself, is she willing to live out the rest of her life behind the scenes or is she willing to pay the price to reclaim the glory she once had.
I don't often read thriller books but I have to say I am happy I picked up Trimpl. AT King does a great job of shaping his characters and showing their true colours. I never knew what would happen next, which is quite the challenge because I generally have it all figured out. The ending will shock you!
I came across this author in a takeover party. I love all kinds of genres so I was curious to know more about his work. And needless to say I will definitely check out more. The characters intertwine with each other and keeps you guessing what comes next. AT King takes you on a scary ride you don't want to get off.... Will be waiting for the next trip to go on....
Trimpl is a unique tale that in the beginning you think you know where it's going and that you have it all figured out. Nope, it goes completely in a strange and twisted direction. It's vastly different from anything I've read before. There are a few twists and turns with a surprise ending giving each character exactly what they deserve, served up in a way that is deeply satisfying.
An ingenious and twisted tale. Diabolically delicious, keeps you guessing and turning the pages. How far would you go for revenge and what price would you pay? Find out the answers for some of the characters in Mr. King's decidedly deviant story.
This was a pretty cool book wasn't sure about it but after I got started reading it I liked it I would say if you like sim I dark reads then you would like this
