I don't know how HM Ward comes up with these stories. I have to say, I didn't know what the book was about until I opened it. This book show how Sean started to transform into how he is in the Arrangement series. This is a great series to cut your teeth on if you are new to HM Wards books. Ms. Ward has a way of drawing you in and begging for more. This is a must read! it will not disappoint. Thank you! <3

Totally hooked and intrigued where HM Ward will be taking us in the next two installments of MANWHORE series of short stories! So hopefully readers understand this is a prequel to THE ARRANGEMENT series. So before Avery Stanz and they are short stories so don’t be shocked on the size. HM Ward packs the short story with a punch and totally not a filler book. There are still parts of Sean that we don’t know or don’t understand so hopefully the prequel will give some insight on who he was before Avery. Was he a good person? Or was he always this torn, complicated man we see in the ARRANGEMENT series? MANWHORE left me shocked in a good way. HM Ward always manages to surprise me and knock any preconceived notions I may have had when I began reading this short story. She totally didn’t disappoint. This is different and in a totally awesome way.

I have to admit when I first read that Manwhore was about Sean I could not imagine what more could be said, except for the murder. I was amazed at how the book just draws you into Sean even more. You get to see him through the eyes of a new attorney, working in the DA's office during Sean's trial. I love how the story quickly develops around Paige and her roommate. It's also astonishing how clever ms. Ward is in detailing how the rumors and stories of how "evil" Sean is.
This is a very quick read, but you are totally pulled in immediately.

Hello Sean Ferro! This my friends opens your eyes to how Sean became the man he is. This one starts at the court hearing for Sean's wife Amanda and his unborn child's murder. Where Sean is on trial for the murder. It is told by the lawyer trying to put Sean away, Paige. Paige has demons of her own. She has needs that I can only assume they are similar to Sean's darker side. I am not 100% sure yet from volume one. I can not wait to see where this story is going to go.
Paige seems like a good person who has just had a rough past. She lost her family and has never been the same since. She likes her job but, as she now realizes after actually doing it for so long she can't help the world. She can't fix it. She has accepted what she does and that she is not a high powered attorney. Her private life though...I need to know where that part is going. She has some very interesting tastes and I can't wait!
Paige and Sean's story is going to be very interesting. It is going places I am super excited to see. Bring on volume 2!!

Oh what secrets one holds. Paige would appear to everyone straight laced and defender for the people. Only this time, Sean Ferro is the one sitting across from her. I’m honestly not sure what to think of this book. Sean holds a special place in my heart so I totally want to kick Paige in the vagina for what she’s doing to him.
Manwhore is the story before Avery and The Arrangement Series. It’s about Sean and the trial surrounding the death of his wife and unborn child.
Paige is working with the prosecution and it’s her job to get into his head and figure out how to make sure the world sees him as guilty. Sadly after weeks of going through the trial and being inside Sean’s head Paige not so sure he’s guilty.
This story is definitely not what I expected and it’s weird for me to think of Sean with anyone but Avery. I’m excited to learn about how this story between Sean and Paige plays out.

This book is a fantastic insight into what made Sean's character in the Arrangement series.
The book follows and is told from the POV of Paige who is assisting the District Attorney in his case against Sean, she is extremely clever and clued up and has a good take on Sean.
I really liked Paige's character and her dynamic with Sean, this is a must read for the Ferro fans.
It's difficult to review a book that is so short but it's written fantastically, it's engaging and I was gripped from the start.

What a great Ferro short story... Since I started reading The Arrangement Series I've always wondered what makes Sean Ferro so intense, what makes him tick? In this story we get to see what made Sean, well Sean. After the death of his wife and through the court action Paige shows up that's where the intensity begins. She's a lawyer on the opposing council, but Sean Ferro has caught her eye. Sparks begin to fly when Paige and Sean meet face to face. I can't wait to continue with this story in the next volume..Thank you HM Ward for making my world brighter with your great stories.

You seriously can not rate a 60pg short story above 3.5 stars and be taken seriously, this short story is typical Ward fashion, she sucks you in and BAM!!! A cliffy then it's over till the next one, was it good? Yes, Manehore is about Sean after his wife's murder during the trial, this short story doesn't give you much, however you do get to see Sean after Amanda's murder and see a glimpse into what he was into during the trial, if your a Ward fan you will defiantly enjoy this smidge of info :) Happy Reading!!!

If you follow "The Arrangement" series then you will absolutely love the "Manwhore" short series. We get a small glimpse into the past of Mr. Sean Ferro. This is the pre-Avery period when he was dealing with the trial of this wife, Amanda. I could not put the book down. I was, of course, swooning over Sean from the very beginning. I will say that I really like Paige. She is very intelligent and is fight a few of her own demons. I could see us fans wanting H.M. Ward to continue this series like we did with "The Arrangment." I promise you will love it!

I'm so glad H.M. decided to write Sean's story before Avery. We are learning about Sean's trial for killing Amanda and the baby, Paige which is with the District Attorney's office isn't so sure that he is guilty but at the same time she is willing to see him pay. I don't want to give any secrets away so I'll just say go buy it and see for yourself how amazing H.M. is, if this is your first purchase you will become obsessed with all of her books. Thank you so much for everything you do. You are greatly appreciated.

If you follow H.M. Ward books, this is a necessity to understand so many questions you will have in The Arrangement series. This is book one of a trilogy. I loved this book because I have read everything H.M. Ward has written. This book provides so many answers to so many questions I have had! This book will pour intense pain and love into you in just a short read! Buy the book, sit back and enjoy! Highly Addictive!

Holy Sean!!!! Hmmmm I think this is gonna beeeeee gooooooooood! OK so this is pre Avery post Amanda Sean. Things are starting to come together and some blanks are being filled. As always H.M. Ward leaves it with a cliffhanger making you beg for number 2. As things that you already know become a little clearer new things pop up that make you come up with even more theories. Short sweet and totally doable!!!!

I love the insight to Sean before we got to know him in The Arrangement. This is great seeing what happened before. As always, Ms. Ward has me hooked, can't wait for the next one. This is very intriguing, finding out what makes the man the way he is today.

I actually quite enjoyed this Little piece of story. So why only three stars? Because it was so short and because I hated that woman who really does not deserve to have even the tiniest piece of Sean. And cos I really would have liked to get inside Sean' s head instead of that woman's.

Short and building heat
Sean is on trial for killing his wife Amanda. One of the people on the prosecutors team can’t seem to keep him out of her mind- and running into him at a sex club certainly doesn’t help. Can’t wait to see the heat intensify in the next book.

HM Ward is the queen of cliffhangers. Not many authors can pull off a short story with a cliffhanger with such finesse.
Manwhore is the story of Sean Ferro while he is on trial for the murder of his wife Amanda, but before meeting Avery in the Arrangement series. In part one of this three-part short story, we meet Paige, one of the DA's set to prosecute Sean. After studying him in the courtroom does she see something that everyone else doesn't? Is he not the cold hearted murderer the media is making him out to be? She above everyone else knows that what some people choose to show in public is not always who they are in private.
We will have to wait until volumes 2 and 3 to find out if she is right about Sean or if he really is the monster they think he is.

This is not at all what I expected when I heard we were getting a Pre- Arrangement story about Sean...though it does not disappoint at all!! I was enthralled & completely taken in by Paige, and how she became what she was, a steady, normal DA assistant, out to put Sean Ferro away forever by day, and a lethal dominatrix by night. The things she had to do to get where she was as a member, well, I would definitely like to know & read all about those. Hahaha. We get a glimpse of Sean, the one that leads us to The Arrangement, and how he ends up where we fall in love with him, even through his large amount of flaws. He is a broken man, lost, shattered, and scarred, and Paige just might be what he needs to bring him back...

Manwhore, vol. 1 by HM Ward was really hard for me. I absolutely love Sean Ferro and my heart broke while reading this because I don't like seeing him portrayed as a monster all over again.
Paige works for the DA's office and has done a good job of making him look like a monster. Only, she is affected and may be the only one that truly "sees" Sean. I have a feeling that what goes on both in and out of the courtroom is going to be quite the ride!

Of course I'm gonna give it 5 stars...it's H.M Ward writing about my secret obsession the Ferro's! And yet again I'm going crazy because of the way things ended. I should really know better by now. Ward sucks you in to the story, makes it so you just have to find out what's going to happen and poof, ends it ! I will say though that it was hard for me to read about Sean from anyone's perspective other than Avery's. I know it's before the Arrangement, but it just feels so....wrong haha. I'm getting way too into these damn stories lol

Great quick read... I can't wait for book 2 to come out because there is a huge cliff hanger at the end and I want to know who Paige is and how she fits in to the Sean Ferro thing. If you are and ARRANGEMENT FAN you will love Manwhore 1 and NEED MORE ASAP. If Manwhore 1 is your introduction to H. M. Ward well brace yourselves for some of the BEST reading you will ever have. The twist and turns and how the Ferro's function and show up in different series is amazing. You will have a NEW BOOK BOYFRIEND ASAP.
