I’ve been using this book for my daily devotions - 4 or so homilies each day. I have to be honest and say that there is some pretty wacky stuff in this little book. But, if you keep digging you’ll find some real gold. My favourite - “When you abide with God, you can be alone against the world, and still be in a majority.”
My friend Rachel pointed me to these books , What can I say apart from "HUGE THANKS" to her and ..... To any Jesus followers - if you haven't heard of FB Meyer you "REALLY REALLY MUST READ THESE" I have been inspired and challenged pretty much on a daily basis as I read one page a day alongside 1 chapter of he bible and this daily homily. I finish reading this eager to read the next one in the 5 volume work. How 'Meyer' can take 1 verse and deliver such a tasty, thought provoking morsel, continues to surprise & inspire me. A great little book to develop your understanding of the bible and applying its truth to your Christian faith and relationship with Jesus.
