The book "the hunter" is an amazing book to read in my opinion. It has great surprises and twist that you wouldn't expect from the start of the book. It basically blindsides you. To me I felt like I connected with the book a lot because I'm a hunter and hunting is in my blood basically and it always will be, it's a way of life to some people and this book I think would connect a lot with the reader that shared the same interests with the main character like I did. from the start of the book to the end it was full of action and adventure, and kept me on my toes and made me want to keep reading even though we had to stop. This book is very entertaining and that I totally recommend this book to other teen hunters like myself.
A reason I think that I could really connect to this book is because me and the main character share a lot in common and do the same movements and have a similar strategy up in the tree, and that when he was in a situation he turned to the woods for his guidance and help just like I would do if I was in trouble.
My favorite part in this book I would have to say is when the main character joe basically turned into a deer to survive and hide from the dangers of being shot. This book to me shows how a normal guy when put in the right situation can reflect and use his knowledge to overcome the fear that's chasing him. So again this book in my life shows how I would handle the exact same situation because I have the experience and the knowledge to overcome these things in the woods. So I recommend to the other hunters out there go and read this book because you could probably relate to the characters and to the book itself.

This book combines hunting, the outdoors, faith, and numerous twists and turns. I appreciated the message and the suspense. It is an entertaining book that's a fun read for hunters and drama fans.
