A comic book writer and erstwhile artist. He has won critical acclaim (including five Eisner Awards) and is one of the most successful writers working in mainstream comics. For over eight years Bendis’s books have consistently sat in the top five best sellers on the nationwide comic and graphic novel sales charts.

Though he started as a writer and artist of independent noir fiction series, he shot to stardom as a writer of Marvel Comics' superhero books, particularly Ultimate Spider-Man.

Bendis first entered the comic world with the "Jinx" line of crime comics in 1995. This line has spawned the graphic novels Goldfish, Fire, Jinx, Torso (with Marc Andreyko), and Total Sell Out. Bendis is writing the film version of Jinx for Universal Pictures with Oscar-winner Charlize Theron attached to star and produce.

Bendis’s other projects include the Harvey, Eisner, and Eagle Award-nominated Powers (with Michael Avon Oeming) originally from Image Comics, now published by Marvel's new creator-owned imprint Icon Comics, and the Hollywood tell-all Fortune and Glory from Oni Press, both of which received an "A" from Entertainment Weekly.

Bendis is one of the premiere architects of Marvel's "Ultimate" line: comics specifically created for the new generation of comic readers. He has written every issue of Ultimate Spider-Man since its best-selling launch, and has also written for Ultimate Fantastic Four and Ultimate X-Men, as well as every issue of Ultimate Marvel Team-Up, Ultimate Origin and Ultimate Six.

Brian is currently helming a renaissance for Marvel’s AVENGERS franchise by writing both New Avengers and Mighty Avengers along with the successful ‘event’ projects House Of M, Secret War, and this summer’s Secret Invasion.

He has also previously done work on Daredevil, Alias, and The Pulse.

And here it is last issue of Alias, This is the continuation of the last issue and thank God Scott is fine. Purple Man shows his color and it is kind of similar to how the season 1 of Jessica Jones ended.

I like this series and loved the awesome TV series which is on Netflix 'Jessica Jones' I hope to read all the issues soon. This is turning out to be a wonderful read, so far so good. Keep on Reading.

I have always loved comics, and I hope that I will always love them. Even though I grew up reading local Indian comics like Raj Comics or Diamond Comics or even Manoj Comics, now's the time to catch up on the international and classic comics and Graphic novels. I am on my quest to read as many comics as I can. I Love comics to bit, may comics never leave my side. I loved reading this and love reading more, you should also read what you love and then just Keep on Reading.

Honestly, the Purple arc is pretty disappointing. The TV series did a pretty good job with Killgrave and Jessica and I was expecting the comics to have handled it similarly, but they just kind of brush over it. I was surprised by how short this arc is. The heavy use of flashbacks also made the series pretty flat/static.

The best Marvel comic series I've read so far. I wish it had more issues but there is a sequel series, so that's good. I'll miss Jessica definitely till I start The Pulse series. She is now definitely one of my favorite Marvel characters. The thing I experienced about Marvel characters I read so far was that there wasn't as much a nice focus on their character development as there was with their design and powers and big arc storys that didn't fulfill the task of showing how it affected the said characters. Sometimes they had some solid points but they'd either fail to accomplish what they were trying to do excellently, having flaws here and there, or if they were on the right track for a while, they would eventually mess it up.I already loved Jessica's design as Jewel, the reason I started the series, but her becoming a private investigator and the vibes of different storylines that occured in this series was just... marvelous.
I'm not a fan of how things ended with Scott and seem to be starting with Luke. Not my cup of tea there. But except that everything else was amazing. This was a fantastic journey.

I loved this series a lot, the whole way through. The only thing I dislike is how Kilgrave was so easily defeated, and the way in which he was defeated; it felt like lazy writing compared to the rest of the issues which was disappointing. The show handled his character significantly better in my opinion. Other than that, this series was a great read and I’m excited to read the other Jessica Jones comics.

The end of the series. The end of the arc. And it ends well, though a bit more subdued than I would like. The events of last issue had me prepared for something huge, something amazing ... and this one was, but not in the way I was expecting. Was it a letdown? But I wanted more. So much more.

This really, really wasn't my cup of tea. Whole lot of consent issues, doubled with a level of perception and women as objects, tripled with self shame, guilt and emotional rape. All of this done in away that isn't really what I need to be shown and told. Read it because I like Jessica Jones. The graphic style grew on me from the last arc but the text... atgg. I need a clean my mind. Add to the pile the way the story is told almost all in flashback and in telling mode. Static and ordinary.
