Rate this book
Brenda Irish Heintzelman is a writer and speaker on the issues of child abuse, elder abuse, and family violence. Brenda earned her Bachelor degree in psychology and is a recent law school graduate whose goal is to establish a law practice focused on protecting children's rights."It is astonishing that after nearly two decades on death row for killing her own children Darlie Routier and her supporters continue to hold fundraisers claiming that if only they can collect more money then surely they will prove she is an innocent victim of a corrupt justice system. The victims in Darlie's case were poor little Devon and Damon Routier. And Devon and Damon deserve justice”.She looked down and saw she was holding a knife in her hands. She saw that her nightie was covered in blood. Suddenly she realized her children had been stabbed. And she screamed. Her name is Darlie Routier. According to Darlie while she was sleeping an intruder stabbed her and two of her children. According to the police investigators there was never any intruder. During Darlie’s eighth police interview with veteran interrogator Bill Parker Darlie said “If I did it, I don’t remember”. After repeating the same statement numerous times finally when confronted with whether Darlie brutally stabbed her children Darlie just shrugged. Eight days after her children were brutally murdered Darlie threw a party and gave a lengthy on camera interview during which she laughed, she snapped her gum, and she said with a big smile that her dead children were having a party too. Toward the end of the fun, Darlie is seen on the video laughing and spraying silly string on her sons’ shared grave.Darlie was arrested and charged with murdering her sons, Devon and Damon Routier. Seven months later Darlie was convicted of capital murder and sent to death row. For over eighteen years since she was sent to death row her supporters have continued to hold fundraisers for Darlie.Unbelievable.Join the Darlie Routier Case Discussion Group on facebook to learn more about the case that shocked the nation.

I believe she killed them

This is not the first book I have read on this case. The court transcripts & 911 call were compelling. What convinced me, was the graveyard party. Bizarre.

Garbage backed up with no proof

Don't waste your time reading this piece of garbage! If I could give it zero stars I would. I don't believe a single word that the so called Basia said Darlie Routier told her at the hospital after the tragic death of 2 angles and the near death of DARLIE. If it had been true she would have been in court testifying, as the INVESTIGATORS would have interviewed her. It's ONLY BEEN 20 year's before she tells this so called author about Darlie's confession at the hospital several hours after the tragedy, before or after Darlie was taken into surgery for her wounds. The only thing I think DARLIE ROUTIER is guilty of is loving a man who wanted her dead to save his own a*s.

Good short book about the Routier case

This book is the first of many short (less than 100 pages) books that cover the author's opinions about the Darlie Routier case. I have also followed this case for more than 20 years and I have read more books about this case.

Biased and out of context.

This is an opinion piece. The author believes Darlie is guilty and backs it up with quotes that are taken out of context. Information that doesn't support her opinion are conveniently left out. It's also a very confusing read.

Not worth the money

I bought this, thinking it would be an in depth examination of the case.
It is more like a bullet point essay.
Far too short.
