Past is the past
Matilda's husband died and she was left with three children. A man, Ryan, came to her community and they met each other. He was a man she had met when she was a teenager. Matilda had been on her Rumspringa. They had fallen in love, but Matilda returned to home and married. Ryan and Matilda discovered they were still in love. They had a lot of secrets from each other, could they be able to overcome them? Great book, you'll enjoy this story.
