About the Book: Coco is a regular girl, for the most part. She goes to school where she has friends and enemies, favorite and most hated teachers. She loves her parents and argues with them from time to time anyway. But, you see, she is also a vampire. A born one, meaning she doesn’t have any vampire weaknesses, but, sadly, neither does she have any powers. Other than needing to feed on blood. Which makes even the simplest school trip – a slight headache…
My Opinion: Amusing little book of Koko’s shenanigans in the day to day life of a vampire. Vampire myth here is a mixture of classic and modern, from proper fangs that don’t retract, to glittering skin. Well written, and would most likely fit ages 11 to 14 the best. Definitely a good piece for just a little bit of that vampire wave nostalgia.

Virkelig dårlig, den føltes som om den hakkede når man læste den. Ikke flydende som en god bog normalt er. Præmissen på bogen var lovende, men det skuffede mig. Især det med at være nedladende og bande over andre når noget gik hovedperson i mod. Også står der at det er en tegneserieroman, det kan jeg ikke lige få til at passe med indholdet. Udover omslaget. Den virkede kunstig og pust op med at springe fra det ene emne til det andet og gå fra glad til sur på nul komma fem. Men der skal nok være nogle børn som vil være vilde med hindbæris special, Gabriel og klasseturen, festen og veninde hygge i dagbogsform med billede illustrationer.
