All the new widow Jessica Kingsbury wants is a quiet new life away from the Hollywood spotlight that made her infamous. But the paparazzi aren't the only ones interested in dredging every sordid secret they can from her past.

All FBI agent Noah Grayson wants is to uncover the mastermind of a blackmail plot that touches the nation's highest ranking politicians. All the clues lead straight to Jessica's late husband, who died under suspicious circumstances. Though his instincts tell him that that the beautiful model is no criminal, he can't help but wonder how much she knew about her dead husband's business dealings.

Then a diamond necklace with ties to the blackmailer is stolen from the Kingsbury mansion, and Jessica begins receiving death threats. She must decide whether she can trust the handsome agent with her secrets and her life, not to mention her heart.

Received an ARC for review

Very slow moving story. It was more suspense with just a touch of romance. The epilogue was sweet. Overall just okay.

This was a good book. I enjoyed the relationship between Jessica and Noah all the way through. There was never really a dull moment between the two! I thought the story was fun and a little different. I think it could have had more action, but it was still a good read.

What a chase for the justice, or just normal, peaceful life..
The story is full of secrets, everyone has them. You cannot for a minute count that you can trust one person, that they are telling the truth, or revealing their true identity or a goal. As the story unfolds, more secrets come to light, more conspiracy is revealed, more true identities shown.
The story starts a bit slow, while the stage is set up. But when the chase across the country starts, the action starts, the pace in the story picks up as well. Puzzling story indeed, with so many twists and turns in the plot, you never knew what was going to happen next.
The romance between Noah and Jessica was steamy. Noah had been admiring her ever since the case was introduced to him, Jessica's attraction was rather instant, but understandable. Noah, the all American, clean cut, good guy who was true, honest, and kind, was all Jessica needed after all the madness.
Fascinating suspense story, where you truly can questions everyone's motives, mixed with life saving and life altering romance

ACCOMPLICE was one of those books that made me read it in two days and wish there was more. The chemistry between Jessica Kingsbury, a widow with a sordid past, and sexy FBI agent Noah Grayson built with just the right intensity of danger and passion from one side of the country to the other. Plus Kristi Lea kept me guessing throughout the book as to who the actual villain would turn out to be, and I must admit it wasn't my first guess. If you are looking for a story that pulls you along with romance, suspense and a feel-good ending, then ACCOMPLICE is for you.

well...that wasn't good...weak story, weak chars, weak ending...I'm still wondering what the interest of that book could be if not for accumulating bad cliches page by page.nothing more to say I'm just goint to forget this quickly.

Enjoyed the suspense aspect of the story, but would have liked to see more emotional growth. The action and suspense almost made up for that though.
