Goodness, this boxed set is probably one of the most well-written and enjoyable set of stories I have read this year! Clem Jamieson worked the rodeo circuit and along the way, he picks up women and then discards them and moves on. These stories are about the daughters he has left behind, each trying to find their way in the world and find love and trust at the same time.

This is a series of stories that you truly need to stop and savor. Truly.

I loved every book in this boxed set! Clem Jamieson's daughters have a hard time trusting men with their hearts, but the sexy and honorable cowboys of Black Mountain are the perfect solution to help them overcome their trust issues. I love the town of Black Mountain and hope that there will be more stories to come. I highly recommend Ladies Love Cowboys!

I have read Shiloh's Song and I love it. D'Ann's character's are so real that I enjoyed everything about this story. Shiloh sings her way into Dillon Travers heart, well not just her singing. Shiloh holds her own as a ranch hand on his horse rescue farm.

I enjoyed this one so much, I cannot wait to read the rest. Awesome.

OMG! I loved this collection. I tell you this, I want my own cowboy now.
The way this author can bring characters to life blows my mind. They all felt real.

What a wonderful set of stories. I wish there were more stories in this series to come...or maybe there is?

Please say there is.

The strong females in this family are all very different but have similar qualities.
Such a variety of situations and characters brought to life through D'Ann's magical words.
I totally recommend this to everyone.

A family is what you make of it!

Clem Jamieson was a rogue when it came to women. He'd love them and leave them, sometimes with a baby on the way. The Jamieson girls all have their own lives to lead, but when it comes to family, they're always there for each other. They're used to not having a Dad to rely on, so they decide to rely on each other. Along the way, they each find and fall for the man who they were meant to be with. They find that love does not always comes easily, but when it does, it stays. A fantastic boxset with easy to love characters. A pleasure to get to know each of them along the way.

Good Author, Needs to keep continuity in mind

I have read most of the Black Mountain books and enjoyed them. My biggest complaint if the continuity between the books.

In the Eden and Adam book, the horse beater was Rand Davis. In another it was Rand Crawford ( or something along those lines), not Davis.

In the Laney and Cody book, they got married right away. In one of the other books, they were still engaged a year or so later.

The vet was at the Fourth of July picnic in the park in Dillon and Shiloh's book and was helping a horse in his and Clancy's book.

If the stories are going to intertwine, the continuity needs to be there

Sweet stories of love and desperation

A conman for father who marries 7 or 8 women and has no thought for the children he fathers...his MO is love 'em and leave 'em. Each of the women in these stories is a child of his suffering from his absence.

Clem's Daughters

I've enjoyed all of these books so far
I like to read stories that keep going and towels each other.
The only this that disappoints I'd the way some of them are cut up so short, but I would advise anyone to read about the Sisters and their HAPPY endings.

Betrayed by A father

How many children we will never know.Clem made daughters. He picked good women and left them. At least seven found and supported each other in Black Mountain, Colorado. So much more

A Sisterhood

I just adore reading love stories especially Cowboys and how they meet the woman who makes them whole. These stories are about alpha men and the strong women, who find each other. The women are all sisters and this book is about their sisterhood. Left me with a need to read more.

Ms. D’Ann Lindun’s collection of stories about Clem Jameison’s daughters is fantastic! Clem traveled the country on the rodeo circuit. He is never with one woman very long. Five of his daughters (all to different women) live in Black Mountain where Clem now resides. Two more daughters show up in Black Mountain to find their father. Each novella is unique and has characters who are easy to identify with and the storylines are great! I fell in love with Black Mountain. If it were a real place, I would love to visit. The question is: How many daughters does Clem have? This is can be read as a standalone set, but I highly recommend the Black Mountain series.

Something was missing

I love reading books,(series) that are connected. I felt like this one was rushed. Every story was just too fast. To me there was not enough time to build a relationship until everyone was in love.

Good read

Really good short books. The heroines in each ones are strong, independent, but somewhat unsure in their personal lives. The heroes are sexy, kind, and real men. I was a little disappointed that each story ended so abruptly, but still highly recommend.
