Ed Brubaker (born November 17, 1966) is an Eisner Award-winning American cartoonist and writer. He was born at the National Naval Medical Center, Bethesda, Maryland.

Brubaker is best known for his work as a comic book writer on such titles as Batman, Daredevil, Captain America, Iron Fist, Catwoman, Gotham Central and Uncanny X-Men. In more recent years, he has focused solely on creator-owned titles for Image Comics, such as Fatale, Criminal, Velvet and Kill or Be Killed.

In 2016, Brubaker ventured into television, joining the writing staff of the HBO series Westworld.

So, even Xavier isn't a mutant anymore!
Two of the most powerful mutants are depowered, since Magneto suffered the same fate.
It also seems that Xavier is the bad guy in this story, whatever happened to Vulcan it was severe enough to make him harbor all this hate for Xavier.

Just finished the side story, what Emma couldn't remember.
It seems Xavier tried to recruit her in the past, and that's when she met Gabriel who she couldn't remember, because Xavier wiped that memory of everyone's mind.
He is against controlling people's mind, but doesn't find it an issue to remove their memory of something altogether, and that's the vice he is getting punished for in Deadly Genesis.

Something I relearned about wasting time which is what I am doing most days now, once you waste enough time, it doesn't really matter anymore if you waste all of it.
Luckily though, we start editing my novel soon, it's really weird even though I am the one addicted to the game, I am always the one with the most energy and desire to work on my novel, nobody can ever match my passion for it, or even match my passion for most things I am passionate about.
That's actually a good thing, because I have seen what the absence of passion does to people.

Kid Vulcano vencé fácilmente a un Centinela. Se lleva a Cíclope y le revela su objetivo: atraer la atención del desaparecido Charles Xavier para que salga de su escondite. ¿No había muerto? Sí, pero ahora ha vuelto. No hay muchas explicaciones, solo que volvió cuando el mundo fue restaurado a la normalidad después de House of M, e incluso puede caminar, pero... ya no tiene sus poderes, ya no es un mutante.

Al final, una historia sobre el reclutamiento inicial de Emma Frost.

Di nomor ini mulai terungkap rahasia Xavier dan juga mengenai siapa sebenarnya mutan yang sangat kuat yang sempat menawan Cyclops dan Rachel Grey. Yang menjadi perhatian saya di sini adalah kematian Briggs, salah satu pilot sentinel, dan hilangnya kemampuan mutan Xavier sebagai akibat peristiwa M-Day meskipun ia kini bisa berjalan kembali. Di akhir komik ada kisah tentang pertama kalinya Emma Frost bertemu dengan Xavier dan Moira.
