The cover is an homage to Giant size X-men #1, and it's probably the best thing about this comic, which is the first time a cover is literally better than the story for me.

I always say to anyone who will listen and I don't listen to what I say because I love big series; you have a better chance of making a short story perfect, than an entire novel, and you have a better chance of making an entire novel perfect than a series of novels.
We see this here in this issue, first story which is 30 pages, was really mediocre, confusing at parts, even though I know what this entire story is about believe it or not but I won't spoil.
Second story though which is a shorter 7 pages story is perfect, easy 4 stars for that short story. It shows us clearly how great Ed Brubaker is.

I don't feel like discussing the story, but fuck it I'll do it anyway.
Here is something worrying the story literally started with The Beast wondering where all the energy went.
Then we have a space station or spaceship get destroyed by what looked like haywire energy.
I don't like that, New Avengers Decimation story already covered where the energy went, they fought it, and they won against it.
If this story is about that energy all issues will get 1 star from me.
But, I do know who this story is about, so it's possible that what did that is that person not haywire energy at all.
And possibly he is the same person that was pissed at Scott for not knowing him.

The art inside the issue sucked in comparison to the cover, the characters are barely recognizable, I don't like that at all.

Another confusing part was Moira's message, if you can't make a part mysterious without making it nonsensical and confusing maybe just don't do it?

Anyway, I'll just start a new novel now, I feel I need to read it to continue writing, I need to immerse myself in the next part I want to write in my novel.

It pains me to give any X-Men title less than 3 stars, because they are my favorite of the Marvel heroes, but this just wasn't that engaging, and I really didn't like the artwork. I don't know if I'll continue with this or not. on the one hand, i'd love to know what's going on, but on the other, i'm not sure that i'm all that interested.

Profesor Xavier menghilang pascakejadian M-Day.

Comunque ok.

In a time before it was common place to make Xavier the villain, this storyline set the standard. The Danger storyline in Astonishing X-Men may have predated this one, but the tone of this issue is one of complete deception from Xavier, and a theme that would be repeated in X-Men stories. The art is good, too. I recommend this story for any X-Men reader.
