The secrets in Xavier's past crawl toward the light, with tendrils of fear seeping into the minds of his X-Men. And if that wasn't bad enough, Cyclops and Marvel Girl are missing, and their friends' minds are falling apart as they search for them.

Unlike Darwin four years ago when I committed suicide, I didn't feel like it was the wrong thing to do. In fact I think I was pissed that it didn't go through. I have persevered and overcome a lot of obstacles to get here today, but I am not sure I want to be doing all this. I have unlimited potential even with a shitty publisher for the novel I wrote, but I am still not sure if any of this will be worth it.
I have to admit this was a better issue than last one, we got a lot of explanations. Many moving parts are moving along nicely. I am not sure where Ed Brubaker is going with his short stories, but they are consistently better than the actual big story he is telling. Also, since I commented on it yesterday, I think Alex overreacting like he cares that much for his brother was warranted, since someone is playing with all their heads, making them relive their worst fears. He is just on edge.
My life is weird these days, a little busy, a little depressed, a little anxious. A little is an understatement but fuck it. I think reading more will be better for me but I am not reading more. My family left for the beach city, I'll be alone for 4 more days, and I am always extra melancholic when that happens. I am allowed to be with my thoughts more.
Really liked Darwin's story. I haven't seen that character outside first class and I really like his powers. I also really like the mystery of who the new mysterious villain is who seems to target the OG X-Men. Also very sad for Sean 😭 He does yet again.
