In the land of Natal, in a place called Umhlanga, there lives the last human being on Earth. The last Guardian. His protectors are the Dragons of the Drakensburg and a few close Elvish friends. But there are those who covet what he has and will do anything to get it from him. A war is coming between the Dragons and the Elves. This book was written for my son.
This is a story that would appeal to teenagers twelve years and older. This is a tale of humans who were closely affiliated with elves, both dark and light, and dragons, large and small, who become close to elves and humans who ride them. Humans quite often make a very close relationship with a dragon and is considered a rider and the dragon not only provides transportation for the human, but becomes its protector. There was an emotional tie between the two. A human by the name of Scott took the kingdom by force a hundred years before, making it a better kingdom to live in, but then was attacked by a young human named Stephen and there was much action of warring and magic. This book would appeal to teenagers who like this type of genre. It is well written and organized.
