The Reynolds Security Series contains novels that are steamy contemporary romance with a bit of suspense thrown in for spice.
Second Chances is a stand-alone novel in the Reynolds Security Series. The timeline runs in parallel with Morning After, the first book in the series, there are some spoilers to that novel.

Zoe Wilson loved and lost once. The experience left her a little jaded. So when her former love, turned billionaire playboy, unexpectedly comes back into her life she thinks she can handle it and get a little closure at the same time. She couldn’t be more wrong.
I loved it! At first I hated Adam and his two week relationships I was like ugh another manwhore billionaire then he redeemed himself. His backstory from being poor and wanted to learn at school was touching, I'm glad he found his way back to who he is and not some spoiled rich dude. Zoe was great she was doing amazing things with the shelter, and her baby accident was devastating but I am glad in the end it turned out amazing. Such a great second chance book.
This was very enjoyable! I read book 1 quite a while ago and didn't remember all that much about it going into this story. I wasn't lost at all, so this book certainly stands alone. I love second chance love stories, and this one was done right.
Adam is a billionaire who is finding that money and success can't buy happiness. He realizes that the one thing that can make him happy is actually a person--his college girlfriend, Zoe. While we know their relationship in college ended, we don't find out the actual reason why until the end of the book.
This was a fun and engaging read, and I look forward to reading book 3 in this series.
Why why why don't people talk. Things aren't revealed until the end but I felt she forgave him too easily. He left her after she had an eptopic pregnancy and surgery as a result and he didn't realise so she says I love you and that makes everything okay, oh and donate a bit of money. He's a jerk, his attitude to women but that's okay too because they know the score with him. She doesn't tell him about the contract she was forced to sign and she leaves without giving him a well deserved price of her mind.
